*Assalamualaikum every one. I hope you all are doing well. My today's post is very special because it is the symbol of love. It is purity which is in form of building and still people memories that love. **Shish Mahal**. It is the place of mirror. It was built by Asif Khan. It is the most decorated place in the Lahore fort. Embelist with mirror work stucco and tracery. Guild work and freight work in marble.*
*This place consists of a special laughing hall with several rooms behind and on either sites and A vast courtyard in front. It was the outer look of this mahal because it is in under construction. Because the Walled city of Lahore is doing a lot of good work to maintain the beauty of Lahore fort and many other historical places in Lahore.*

*This was the symbol of love because it was specially made on the order of king shah Jahan for his beloved mumtaz begum. This building has a separate ticket entry with cost hundred rupees per person. And if you are don't know it's free you can hire a guider who guids you about the beauty of this mahal.*
*This is the small path. According to my suggestion I guess this was built for the security and the maids of mumtaz begum. There are also stairs who opened in the roof top but they were closed because there are many hidden mysteries in this fort which are not solved yet.*
*If you have seen ever the Mughal empires work you should know that every building of Mughal empires as a parts like this which has a lot of entrance. These ventilations works a lot for a fresh and Good air. As we entered Shish Mahal suddenly it started rain. It was a heavy rain that we stop at this place for a long time.*

*This is the overview of this Mahal from outer side. It is the very white and beautiful building. It was not in it's original condition so the workers are working to maintain its beauty again.*
*This is the pavilion where the king and queen seeds for a long time and have some tea or anything. It's really an is also known as **Naulakha pavilion**. It is known as naulakha because it comes to know that at that time this spend 9 lacs to build this pavilion. Because it's position was very obvious and you can see the whole Lahore from sitting here.*
*These are the window type where very good air enters inside. And a small open window from where you can see the whole Lahore fort and you can see the rain or etc.*
*Here is my younger brother who was with me. Once again wants to add that I came here only on the demand of my brother. Because he is very fond of historical places and he wants to visit Lahore fort. But the fact is that we see the whole Ford but our main concentration walls on this Mahal.*
*They were very mysterious rooms like I don't know why they have built them at this way but when you entered from one side you can then enter in the second row and then third and then the fourth and then the main hall. And then you can visit the whole Mahal.*
*I was feeling so royal to visit this. I was wishing that what if I was born at that era and I can live like a royal soul. I can see the construction and the purposes and I can meet Kings and queens. But now I am seeing it and I am imagining myself at that era.*
*The upper picture is showing a window which is found in every corner and room of this mahal. And it is called Latice window. Now we entered in the main hall where was the main construction done. Here is the purpose by which it is known as Shish Mahal. The fully embellishment of mirror work.*
*Beautiful patterns of mirrors on the whole was even on the top of roof. This sheesh Mahal is also found in the UNESCO world heritage sight. It is presented as the peak building and constructions of Mughal empires. Specially the use of marble and mirrors just like inaly work.*
*There were a lot of patterns made on the walls as you can see in this picture it was the portrait of a king and queen and for sure these are shahjahan and mumtaz begum and there are there maids on both sides of them*.
*There is also beautiful fact about this Mahal that is present still. There is a special entrance and function which is held on the every Saturday night in this Mahal. Which is known as history night by walled city of Lahore.*
*In that program they tour the whole Lahore fort. They also tell us about the exact history and so some hidden spot. The whole show is about for two hours.*
*And there is also small performance just like music dance Kathak and some acting in the costume of badshah and queen dresses. Which look so turning. I was also wishing to participate in this function but when I saw the ticket it was 2500 for per person. And no one was ready to go with me so I skipped it.*
*In the upper picture you can see the image of Lahore. I was not joining on the top or in any open place I was on the corner of this Mahal and the lattic window. I just put my mobile outside and capture a picture. And in the lower picture you can see the pattern of marble which is in the front of this building. Where there is the process of access waste water.*
*At that time there was no severage so they made the whole buildings in such a way that when it is raining the whole water comes in the centre and then left from the building in a easy way.*
*The centre of this round water severage there is a small stage on its upper side. Where some time there is a performance of any dancer at that time. As we know that the kings and queens of that I am were very fond of dancing.*
*The building is just like this picture from the both side. You can see that there is also a floor on the top. And it is so that it has also has the floor but that is still under construction nobody can visit. We don't know what is in the first floor.*
*The rain was on its swing. It was not stopping and now I was tense because I was with my younger brother. And when it rains in Lahore it don't stop before 3 to t hours. And at this time 3 hours were passed and it was till heavy raining.*
*But the weather was quite beautiful. Because when we entered the fort it was too hot and the clouds came suddenly and suddenly it started rain.*
*This is the outer side of this mahal. Which is the entrance. This was for the local people of that time. And also it was for any judgement statement.*
*Here we visit the whole Mahal successfully. And we were ready to go back home.*
