I'm just getting back from an eight hour car drive back from South Carolina. I spent the last two days visiting and touring the University of South Carolina. It was a pretty cold trip. I took the picture above last night. I was trying to recreate the logo of the South Carolina flag below.

It's not quite the same, but hey, I tried. I also took a cool picture of an owl that we saw. The picture below looks like it's daylight, but actually dusk and I took the picture using night mode on my phone.
I didn't have a whole lot of time to look at the picture, so I didn't know until just now that I actually got a pretty good picture of the owl. Here is a close-up.
That might be the first time I've actually seen an owl in the wild. It's definitely the first time I ever got a picture of one. Other than that, I just got a picture of this cool little art piece I saw in the communications school. It's made up of old discarded cell phones and other electronic items.
I thought this was pretty cool
I forgot my Fitbit Charger on the trip, so I don't have any cool Fitbit stats to show. But I did change actifit, to phone sensor mode. So, this is what I got. I finished the day with 7,000 steps. I actually had more, but as you can see I forgot to start the actifit app until 10 a.m. So it's probably closer to 10 or 12,000 steps. It's pretty good considering I also had eight hours of driving.
Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. Today's song was Give It Away by and Red Hot Chili Peppers. I've always loved this song. I used to listen to it to give me hyped up for basketball games and other sporting events. It's definitely a high energy song.
Well, that's about it for today. I'll check in tomorrow.
