It's finally finished! At least, I'm calling it done. Technically I still have a couple of places to touch up and a fair bit of cleaning to do, but I'm going to call it done. I've been working on this here and there for about a month.
This is how it started. It seems like it was forever ago. Sometimes I was only able to work on it for an hour at a time. Sometimes I got caught up on a small detailed piece and it seemed like I'd make zero progress, but I was able to keep some momentum and complete the job.
This was me setting up my kids' work bench. We actually made this a long time ago, but I didn't take pictures of it at that time.
This is a pic I took earlier. You can see the two boards attached to the wall. They support the desktops.
The desktops are actually cheap doors. We painted them white, and they made great light weight desktops. We didn't want to get anything fancy because we wanted the kids to be able to mess them up while doing their crafts.
This is what it looks like when finished. We put bins on the wire racks to hold all the supplies tge kids use. Now that the kids are older, I think I'm going to start using it as my own work bench.
This is a photo of the floors from the work bench area. There's still a mess to clean up on the air hockey table, but I think it's going to look great once I get it cleaned.
This is another picture that kind of shows how big the floor is. I'm glad it's done.
I finished the day with over 15000 steps. A lot of that was while I was completing the thresholds in a few doors. I also had 190 active minutes.
Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. Today's song is Phoenomenal by Eminem. I think he wrote it some time in 2002. I don't know why, but this isn't a song I listen to often. It's a pretty good song though. I got to add it to the rotation.
Well that's it for now. I've got to get to sleep. I'll catch y'all tomorrow.
