A pic from my morning walk.
Today was kind of busy. I woke up early to get out of the house but fell back asleep. I didn't sleep too well last night. After a while, I woke up. Then my wife came and asked me if I would like to go on a walk with her. I figured it would be a good time to get some activity in. I snapped the pic above at some point during our walk. We ended up walking about two miles (3.22 km).

I'm finishing the day with over 13000 steps. I would have liked to see how many floors my fitbit showed, but it died early this morning. It was probably one of my more active days in recent times.

Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. Today's song was Euphoria by Kendrick Lamar. Everybody always likes "Not Like Us", but Euphoria is the more venemous dis track in my opinion. It is also more poetic and requires some effort to interpret. It starts with a reversed excerpt from the movie, The Whiz, where Richard Prior is saying "Everything they say about me is true. I'm a phony". The line sets the theme for Kendrick's attacks. I also like the lines in which he talks about shooting a Drake (a type of gun) and talks about how he didn't aim down enough. Then when he says he learned from that mistake, it makes you wonder if he's talking about a gun afterall. In actuality, we all know what he meant.
My only regret for the song is the mix up between Joel Osteen and Haley Joel Osment when Kendrick refers to having to battle AI versions of Tupac and Biggie. The worst part is that Haley Joel Osment actually fits the rhyme better. Anyway I could probably write a lot more but other have already done.
Anyway that's it for tonight. I'll catch y'all tomorrow.
