Self Portrait
Today was kind of uneventful for the most part. It was just a normal day of work and then I came home and made dinner. Well, to be more accurate, I made one part of dinner. We had country-fried steaks. It came out really good. I wish I had taken a picture of it, but I didn't. So instead, you guys get the self-portrait of me above. It really is a self-portrait. I was just wearing an LED mask and then I did some heavy editing with filters to give it the effect that it has. I thought it seemed kind of creepy.
After dinner, I talked with my wife for a little bit and then I had to get on to doing my steps. I did some light weights and did walking for about three hours. It's gonna be super tough to make my goal of 20,000 steps a day for every day this week. That being said, if I do manage to get through it, I'm sure it'll be my most productive week ever. At least the most productive week that I've recorded.
I'm finishing the day with just over 20,400 steps. I didn't record any active minutes because something seems to be wrong with my heart rate monitor. I probably have to do a reset on my Fitbit. Hopefully it will be working tomorrow. I also finished with seven floors.
Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. Today's song was go to sleep by Eminem, Obie Trice and DMX. This is another one of those venomous battles that Eminem is kind of famous for. It's more or less about all of them killing their lyrical enemies. My favorite lines are when M&M yells "Die nameless!" I think that's a cold thing to say, especially in a battle rap.
With that, it's time for me to heed the words of today's song and Go To Sleep. I'll check in with y'all later.
