England thrashed New Zealand by massive 119 runs to secure a spot in Semifinals.
England made 305 runs courtesy of Jonny Bairstow’s century (back to back) and vital opening partnership with Jason Roy. They would have ended up with more, had their middle order contributed. New Zealand lost wickets in quick succession with 2 senior batsmen getting run out.
There is theoretical chance for Pakistan still making into semifinals but very slim and unlikely considering the way Bangladesh are playing.
Another sunny and gorgeous day. I walked around the park at lunch time and after work, spotted these bizarre markings on a football pitch. I am hoping they would move the goalpost back.
