Hello Hive
Happy new day to my fashion lovers and fashion enthusiasts. For those who are actively engaged in the fashion business, I hope that we are making sales, and for those trying to find their way in business, I will encourage you to keep trying, and someday that vision will come to light.
It is important to have a fashion catalogue as a business owner. It's a good way to display your business on social media and a good way to attract customers. WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and many other social media pages are good places to sell your business at a glance; not having a business catalogue is a bad idea, as people get attracted to what they see.
Today I thought about creating my own fashion catalogue and thought about sewing and thought about the idea of sewing some lovely attractive outfits to post on my catalogue.
To start with, I have a lot of small pieces of fabrics I can put together to make some clothing, and instead of having them hang around, I started to work with each piece to think about what I can make with each.
I started with cutting the front and back pieces of a size 6 measurement from the pieces available.
I also cut the back block here.
In order to make pretty outfits, we have to be creative to know what color of fabrics to mix together, mixing colors and fabrics to make pretty clothes.
For this I got some white net lace, hoping that it will come out nice. Using the lace, I cut out a yoke for both the front and back blocks.
Next step, I stitched the yoke to the dress and topstitched it down.
Then got a bias strip and turned the necklines of the dress.
Having done that, I started to stitch the side seam allowances and created a hemming at the base of the dress.
Then it was zipper o'clock, and I was able to fix the zipper.
Next was this band. I got from the several pieces of the dress, which I sewed and attached to the dress, the front block of the dress and a little flowery pattern of the same fabric, which I had attached to the dress for a sleeve.
Another aspect of getting a beautiful catalogue is being able to get some nice quality pictures of your design.
I think I tried with these pictures; maybe a little ironing will do justice to this pretty dress, but since there was no power supply, I will do that later, and this will be among the dresses going up on my catalogue.
What do you think of this? Does it look attractive enough to draw attention?
