Isn't harvest time an exciting moment. I'm sure that everyone will find harvest to be an interesting activity. Every other farming task may not be appealing especially when you are planting and so unsure of the fate of what you are planting. Harvest often comes as a relief that we didn't suffer in vain to plant and that we also didn't waste our time and effort on this crop.

Yesterday evening my sister bought me some potatoes chips while I was studying rigorously for a forthcoming exam. Somehow it worked magic of relieving me of so much tension of trying to assimilation alot of information within a short period. My head was already feeling woozy. I took the snacks and also took a walk which made me feel so much relieved, upon returning to my books I felt a bit light and could continue my studies.

Just them I realized how delicious the potatoes snacks was and how much I would love to eat a potatoes meal. After noticing the price of the potatoes being sold on our street I realized that potatoes are really expensive for now and an amount equal to this quantity I had harvested from my sac potatoes is sold for $0.5

I decided to dig out my sac potatoes and here is what I got. These were planted in the month of June thereabout and in just 3months potatoes are ripe and ready for consumption. Rather than purchasing some potatoes with my money I have found these very ones I will be cooking for lunch today. I love potatoes and beans cooked together, I love the deep fried potatoes as well and I equally love potato chips. In fact I eat almost everything prepared from potatoes.

Growing potatoes in a sac is the easiest exercise we can think of especially if there is rainfall. It keeps the potatoes in the sac wet and if you have filled your sac with quality and fertile soil you are bound to harvest some tuber within 3months of planting.

I was able to harvest some tubers while noticing how a rat has been helping himself to my sac potatoes. The rat must have noticed the tuber earlier than myself and decided to help himself to it. I hope that the rat finds something else to eat tomorrow as I have taking over what is mine 🤣🤣🤣
