Hello Hive

I am here again on pleasant afternoon to share with the community how I saved myself some bucks sewing hair bonnets for myself and my sister. Today I decided to sew a new design of hair bonnet for myself, there are different designs of hair bonnet out there and you can chose the one that is most comfortable for you.

I remember vividly how much I needed a hair bonnet badly after making my recent braided hair rather than purchasing any from the market which will be more expensive I decided to sew one for myself. Little did I know that the hair bonnet will soon be taken away from me.

My littles sister had grown in age and in need of all the ladies accessories. She told me how that she is no longer a teenager and would be needing her own items. This is the stage where we begin to fight like real sister,๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜„ she wouldn't let my stuffs be and if I'm to buy anything I must purchase them in twos or else her little jealous would soon inherit all my stuffs.

I wanted to use the hair bonnet last night when I realized that she has taken them go school without my notice. I almost couldn't manage the discomfort of sleeping without them hence I decided to sew me another one.

I got a piece of satin fabrics and cut out a flair using 12"

To make this a reversible bonnet we have to stich them neatly both within and without. After searching my fabric bag and not finding a fabric that is a perfect match to the satin

I decided to introduce a completely different fabrics into this and hope that the color will look great on each other at the end. And even if does not I'm going to wearing this indoors only.

I cut out the fabric in the same manner that I had cut the satin, pin everything down Stitching was done and then I turned it out through a hole I left open.

Next I got an elastic band and Inserted it into the space I had prepared for it.

I closed up the opening where satin was inserted and now I got myself a bigger sized of a new design of hair bonnet.

From henceforth it's either I sew most items in double or risk looking the things I cherish most to my younger sister who I cannot say No to. As big sister do you equally have thesame issues with your younger ones?
