The portion of our rice field making a positive growth after the rain spell setback. The joy of every farmer is to see a green field like this one with no challenges.
A beautiful new week to all of us in the community I hope that we are enthusiastic about a new day and a new week plus the gift of life to pursue and good health. These are all essential blessings we need to live our our daily lives and I hope that by the end of the day we would be able to make some new achievements.
I learnt that meeting our daily goals and monthly goals often resort to a blessed and fulfilled years. I hope that we are all making progress in the direction we desire.
Talking about growth and progress, your passionate farmers us grateful for the return of the rain and as at this morning we wouldn't want to get to the farm to see how our. The next phase of our tasks here is the weeding and application of fertilizer.
Although the grasses are yet to overwhelm the crops because of the preventive measured we have earlier taken to curb their growth. Trust me as soon as the rains resumes and this place turns into a swap, grasses grow faster than anything and you will be surprised that they will almost be catching up with the plant.
It is advisory not to apply herbicides on the field when there is not enough water in the rice field as see. Although the rains are back but we have only had about two consecutive downpour. Herbicides often have so much adverse effect on both humans and he crops in our field. Applying herbicides should be done when there is abundant rain to dilute and neutralize the effect of herbicides. Hence we will wait for one or two more downpour and when our field have enough water to be able to decided which less hazardous we will use for our rice field.
