Today was a really exhausting day at working place was full of noise, tasks piling up from every direction barely had time to breathe. Being an artist, I carry a lot inside and today, the work load was even heavier. I was overwhelmed, but I picked up my tools because I had to pour it out somehow.
Concept of my art:-
The image came to me in fragments a bent figure, turning away, as if folding into itself. It reflected exactly how I felt inside. This piece would carry the sadness I couldn’t speak about, but could only express.
Material :-

Procedure: I laid out my canvas, large and still blank, and stared at it for a moment. I primed it, letting the surface dry as my thoughts swirled around what I needed this piece to say.
With light pencil, I began sketching the back of the figure. The spine, the shoulders I emphasized the tension, the loneliness.
I started brushing the dark, burnt sienna background. The color felt raw, earthy almost like dried blood. It matched the tone I wanted to set. Every brushstroke echoed exhaustion.
I slowly built up shadows, especially around the neck and arms, giving volume to the body. The way the light would hit these spots helped shape the silence in the pose the way the head turns away, avoiding the world.
Once the form was established, I deepened the dark areas in the hair and spine to make the posture more striking. The hand holding the head felt especially important it’s the only gesture here, and it says everything burden and sadness.
I stood back and looked at it. The figure is incomplete in some ways, blurred and undefined at the edges but that’s how sadness feels. As I finished, I felt a heaviness in my chest.
This artwork, created on such a hectic and draining day, is soaked in emotion. It’s personal. It holds too much sadness and maybe that’s why I had to make it. That's all for today cuties.
