Hello Hive Fam! It's nice to be back. I've been busy for quite some time as we finished everything for my friend's wedding.

As the Best man, I ensure the groom and his bride are well prepared for that sacred ceremony. This is my first time attending a wedding. I thought I was just a guest; however, the couple decided to have me as their best man, and for me, it's an honor. Anyway, let me introduce the bride and groom.

Meet Ronald and Carmela. I met them years ago at an event in Seeds of Hope Society PH (SOHSPH) Yeah, Carmela founded that organization Advocating planting trees, adopting schools, gift giving, and feeding programs. Carmela and I clicked, and the rest is history. Fast-forward: He met Ronald, also part of the organization, and started courting her. Eventually, they became partners, and they were officially married.

They had been in a relationship for three years, and when Ron proposed, I immediately volunteered to get involved in their wedding. So yeah, together with some close friends, we promised to help them with preparations, including invitations, souvenirs, and decorations.

Prepations We allotted 6 Executive Sundays for souvenirs and decoration making.

This is what we've made: a simple craft yet meaningful, a money envelope, the wedding logo, and the color-coded bible verses in a bottle for the wedding souvenirs, a giveaway for all guests who attended for that special day.

We also made a mirror selfie and brainstormed for a perfect hashtag for the couple, and we made the final touch an hour before the wedding started.

We also created a separate gift for Ninongs and Ninangs, a special customized mug.

Exploring this DIY wedding idea truly allows us to tap into our imagination and discover fresh ways of expressing ourselves. By designing and creating elements on our own, we are encouraged to think outside the box, experiment with unique details, and personalize every aspect of the celebration. The process pushes us to be resourceful, innovative, and hands-on, transforming ordinary concepts into meaningful expressions of our love story. It not only saves costs but also gives us the joy of crafting something original. Ultimately, this DIY wedding idea inspires us to embrace creativity and make the occasion authentically ours.

It's really a lot of work to get these things done, but for us, nothing is impossible; it's only a matter of dedication and teamwork.

Now, let me share some photos from the wedding day.

Special shout-out to JHT Photography as they captured the wedding successfully, and we really do appreciate the photos and videos they've provided.

And here's my POV before and during the ceremony.

Let me share with you the photos I was able to capture using my phone, each one reflecting how breathtaking the surroundings truly were. The wedding was set in the heart of nature, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that made the entire celebration feel extra magical. The venue was a charming garden, filled with lush greenery, tall trees, and the gentle touch of fresh air that added to the romantic atmosphere. Every corner seemed like it was designed for memorable moments, from the pathway adorned with natural beauty to the open spaces where the sunlight peeked through the leaves.

The wedding took place at Munting Gubat in Tanay, Rizal, a location that perfectly blended tranquility and intimacy. Being surrounded by nature created a refreshing escape from the usual busy settings, allowing everyone to immerse themselves fully in the occasion. It was more than just a wedding; it felt like a celebration of love in harmony with the environment. The simplicity of the place highlighted the couple’s happiness and made every detail stand out even more. Truly, the garden wedding at Munting Gubat was not only beautiful to witness but also unforgettable to capture.

I was not expecting that this kind of wedding would be truly exquisite. It made me think to consider this for my future wedding lol, but first, I need to make a move and find a partner 😂

My message for the newlyweds

I am truly honored to stand here today as Ron’s best man. I’ve witnessed not just his journey, but also the beautiful love story he and Carm have built together. Carm, you bring out the best in Ron, and Ron, you are truly blessed to have found someone as kind, loving, and supportive as Carm. Today, we celebrate not just your wedding but the beginning of a lifelong partnership. May your love grow stronger each day, filled with joy, laughter, and endless adventures. Cheers to the newlyweds, Carm and Ron!

Before I end this blog, I just want to share a wholesome picture of their dog named Star, who's also one of the bridesmaids.
