Hey there, fellow Hivers! What's up? I'm here to share another meaningful event that I attended last month.
Last August 23 (Saturday) was a successful activity initiated by our organization, Seeds of Hope Society PH, and we held the event at Sitio Maysawa, Brgy. Cuyambay, Tanay, Rizal
The volunteers gathered and worked together to transfer the seedlings to the planting area, and, like before, we ordered 300 seedlings to DENR for them to be planted. It is composed of fruit-bearing plants and Native trees. Narra, Guyabano, and Duhat.
Every volunteer was assigned to plant two or more, and for sure, they would love it!
It's raining on that day, and as you can see, the area was so cloudy and gloomy, but for me it's kinda perfect. It makes it more peaceful and tranquilizing.
We started the event with a prayer led by one of the volunteers from Deped. Ms. Carm greeted everyone and gave her opening remarks, while Sir Nik from MENRO Tanay gave a brief orientation, dos and dont's and how to plant properly.
These active volunteers carried a bag of seedlings; what a wholesome picture to see.
Everyone has their own seedlings to be planted, and the planting area was so muddy that I noticed a lot of volunteers slipped; however, it didn't stop them from finishing and doing the job.
VOLUNTEERS IN ACTION
To make sure that all seedlings will be planted, volunteers help each other, and it's so wholesome seeing them working together. Unity is the key! 💪
This is a photo of a happy family planting together. It's very heartwarming! Shout out to them, they had a meaningful bonding.
Anyway, just wanted to mention our tied-up company "Unison" for catering and providing lunch for all volunteers. Salute!
All in all, it was a successful event, and rain or shine, we will get the job done.

That's all for me, folks, thanks for dropping by.
Peace out! 🤙
