Saludos Geekgamer. A lo largo de mi vida he probado desde la consola Atary cuando era muy pequeño, pasando por el primer Nintendo y sus versiones posteriores, así como otras consolas similares y sus diferentes videojuegos. Hoy contamos con juegos multiplataformas que pueden ser jugados en diferentes consolas, computadoras y hasta celulares a la vez. A pesar de tener una lista muy larga de algunos juegos que considero todo gamer debe jugar alguna vez, hoy les quiero compartir un top de 3 juegos que no son tan antiguos y tampoco tan modernos para mantener una especie de equilibrio imaginario, eso si, los tres lo jugué en PC, aunque hoy ya se pueden jugar en consolas.

Greetings Geekgamer. Throughout my life, I've played games, from the Atari console when I was very young, through the first Nintendo and its subsequent versions, as well as other similar consoles and their various video games. Today, we have multiplatform games that can be played on different consoles, computers, and even cell phones at the same time. Despite having a very long list of some games that I consider every gamer should play at least once, today I want to share with you a top three games that aren't too old and not too new, to maintain a kind of imaginary balance. I played all three on PC, although today they can be played on consoles.
Counter Strike 1.6
Un clásico que no puede faltar en mi top es este título, si bien es un juego shooter, creo que todo el mundo debe probarlo. Es muy divertido, y esta primera versión puede correr en cualquier PC, además no tiene los añadidos de colección de armas ni skins por lo que el jugador esta concentrado en una buena puntería, una buena comunicación con el equipo y ganar.
Los que ya lo hemos jugado siempre recordaremos mapas por defecto como Asault, Dust, Dust2, Train, Havana, entre otros. Estoy seguro que todos tenemos historias divertidas y muchas horas de compartir con amigos y como no, también desconocidos.
Si los mapas por defecto ya se hacen repetitivos, podemos descargar mapas creados por la comunidad y diferentes modos de juego.
Sin duda Counter Strike 1.6 entra en este top no solo por su historia y legado, sino también porque a día de hoy sigue siendo muy divertido, manteniendo su diseño original pero actualizando sus diferentes estilos de juego.
Dato curioso Counter Strike 2 es gratis, pero Counter clásico tiene un valor superior a $5 en Steam.

A classic that can't be missing from my top list is this title. Although it's a shooter, I think everyone should try it. It's a lot of fun, and this first version can run on any PC. It also doesn't have the added bonus of collecting weapons or skins, so the player is focused on good aim, communicating with the team, and winning. Those of us who've played it will always remember default maps like Asault, Dust, Dust 2, Train, Havana, among others. I'm sure we all have fun stories and many hours of sharing with friends and, of course, strangers. If the default maps are already becoming repetitive, we can download community-created maps and different game modes. Without a doubt, Counter-Strike 1.6 makes this top list not only for its history and legacy, but also because it's still very fun to this day, maintaining its original design but updating its different play styles. Fun fact: Counter-Strike 2 is free, but classic Counter-Strike is worth over $5 on Steam.

Gta San Andreas
Aunque Vice City fue una joya, San Andreas lo rompió todo. Este juego se ha convertido en una leyenda, esta en el punto medio de lo antiguo y lo moderno con respecto a la saga GTA.
Muchas horas debíamos invertirle a este juego para poder pasarlo por completo, ni que decir de las misiones secundarias, los secretos, la cantidad de cosas ocultas, es inmenso. Podíamos hacer casi de todo, hacer carreras, shooter, parkour, aviación, citas, juegos dentro del juego.
Se puso mejor luego con la salida de GTA Multiplayer, lo que permitía conectarte con otros jugadores en línea para probar mapas creados por la comunidad y diferentes estilos de juego como carreras, carreras tipo Obi, mapas roleplay. Yo estuve jugando por varios meses un servidor roleplay y me encanto.
Recuerdo a CJ saliendo con varias mujeres a la vez y el problema tan grande con catalina, muy divertido. También recuerdo cuando lo puse muy gordo y luego lo puse muy musculoso, le cambiaba la ropa veces muy elegante y a veces muy al estilo cantante de hip hop o trap.
Hoy lo pueden probar con gráficos mejorados, no se pueden ir de esta existencia sin jugarlo.

Although Vice City was a gem, San Andreas broke it all. This game has become a legend, standing in the middle of the old and new in the GTA series. We had to invest many hours into this game to fully complete it, not to mention the side missions, the secrets, the amount of hidden things—it's immense. We could do almost anything: racing, shooters, parkour, flying, dating, and in-game games. It got even better later with the release of GTA Multiplayer, which allowed you to connect with other players online to try out community-created maps and different game styles like racing, Obi-style races, and role-playing maps. I played a role-playing server for several months and loved it. I remember CJ dating several women at once and the huge problem with Catalina—very funny. I also remember when I made him really fat and then really muscular, changing his clothes sometimes to be very elegant and sometimes to be a hip-hop or trap singer. You can try it today with improved graphics; you can't leave this life without playing it.

Minecraft
Cuando conocí este juego me sentía jugando Lego pero de forma virtual, por el hecho de ir armando cosas con cubos (aunque en lego no contamos solo con cubos).
Minecraft debe jugarlo todo el mundo por lo menos una vez en su vida, es un juego que mejora muchísimo la creatividad, en modo supervivencia es muy divertido, pero las personas que quieren una experiencia más relajante pueden optar por un modo de juego creativo para armar lo que se les ocurra con todos los materiales a su disposición. De hecho, hay estudios psicológicos que indican que jugar Minecraft mejora nuestro cerebro de muchas maneras, tiene beneficios educativos, cognitivos y creativos en niños y adolescentes, en adultos mayores ayuda a reducir el riesgo de demencia.
Hace años estuve armando mi casa real dentro del juego y debo decir que se veía bastante igual, fueron varias horas de construcción pero el resultado final me gusto tanto que tuve la ambición de hacer toda la calle donde vivía y luego poco a poco el sector. Obviamente fue un proyecto muy ambicioso que nunca complete XD.

When I discovered this game, I felt like I was playing Lego, but virtually, because I was building things with bricks (although in Lego, we don't just use bricks). Everyone should play Minecraft at least once in their life. It's a game that greatly improves creativity. Survival mode is a lot of fun, but people who want a more relaxing experience can opt for a creative mode to build whatever comes to mind with all the materials at their disposal. In fact, psychological studies indicate that playing Minecraft improves our brains in many ways. It has educational, cognitive, and creative benefits for children and adolescents, and it helps reduce the risk of dementia in older adults. Years ago, I built my real house in the game, and I must say it looked pretty much the same. It took several hours of construction, but I liked the end result so much that I had the ambition to build the entire street where I lived and then, little by little, the entire neighborhood. Obviously, it was a very ambitious project that I never completed. XD
