Happy new month to the community! I celebrated my birthday few days ago, I’m so blessed to see another beautiful month. Congratulations to the past winners and great job to the amazing judges @lordbutterfly @verbal-d @silentscreamer.
This week came with a beautiful theme and I’m so pumped to participate. I performed a song titled Good Enough from the movie EMPIRE.
The song 'Good Enough' by Empire Cast conveys the feeling of inadequacy and the constant struggle to meet someone's expectations, symbolized by the metaphor of trying to be 'good enough'. The lyrics express the desire for acceptance and recognition, highlighting the emotional toll of feeling like one's efforts are never sufficient. Good Enough is an original song featured in the Season One episode, Pilot. It is performed by Jamal Lyon and it is featured in the Empire: Music From the Pilot - EP. This song has a powerful theme that most people can relate to. To everyone out there who has been made to think they have to prove themselves before they can be loved and seen, I need you to know that you are loved, you are seen, you don’t have to fight for recognition because God your Heavenly Father loves you and cares for you truly. Now you have to take the first step by loving your own self, seeing yourself, appreciating yourself and in turn the world would have to embrace your light. I hope you enjoy this performance.
