Assalamu Alaikum.Hope everyone is doing well.I am new to your community.I hope everyone will congratulate me.I love vegetables very much, our family always has some vegetables in their daily menu.Today I will share with you a very famous vegetable recipe.That is long bean and Potato Chachhari.This recipe is very popular in our country. And you will not find anyone who does not like it. There is a process for this recipe and that is that it is cooked on very low heat.And no water is used. So that you can enjoy this beautiful recipe, I am sharing it with you step by step.
Long beans are a vegetable that is low in calories and high in fiber.Therefore, it is a very helpful vegetable for weight loss.It also contains potassium, which helps reduce high blood pressure and control diabetes.Therefore, this vegetable can be eaten by all types of people.It will be a very helpful vegetable especially for those who are on a diet.Its taste is incomparable and it takes very little time to cook. Long beans can be eaten with rice or bread.
Necessary ingredients :
Long bean 500 gram 2 pieces of potato 3 pieces of onion 1 pieces of garlic 10 pieces of chilli Salt as required Turmeric ½ teaspoon cumin 1/2 teaspoon Garham masala powder ½ teaspoon Oil 90 grams
Step by step making process
First, I washed the long beans and potatoes very well and cut them into a nice shape.Then I washed the onion, chili, and garlic well and chopped them finely.
Then I put a pan on the stove and lightly stirred the onion, chili, and garlic cloves.When the water dried up, I poured in a sufficient amount of soybean oil.
Then, after stirring for a while with a spoon, I added one and a half teaspoons of salt and half a teaspoon of turmeric powder and fried it again.
When they turned slightly red, I added half a teaspoon of cumin seeds and a piece of cinnamon, stirred it again for a while, and then added the chopped long beans and potatoes.
After pouring in the vegetables, mix them all together very well.This will mix the fried onions, peppers, and garlic with the vegetables.
At this stage, after stirring for two to three minutes, the water will come out of the vegetables.No need to add any extra water here.The water that comes out of the vegetables will cook in it.Then I covered it with a lid.And kept the stove on low.
After five minutes, I removed the lid and stirred it lightly.By this time, the vegetables were cooked.
Then, when the water dries up, I add half a teaspoon of garam masala powder to it.Then, I fry it until it is completely cooked and drain it.
