I love the Horror genre, but Body Horror, that subgenre that twists your stomach with grotesque physical transformations and mutilations, was never my favorite. But, to my surprise, I've enjoyed some films that have made me rethink my taste. These films, which I've written about in the Movies & TV Shows Community, were:

There are films that strive to broaden our horizons of thought, to challenge our ideologies and the consequences of our actions, so that after learning comes regret and reflection on life. We all regret having said or done something that hurt the feelings of someone we love. It is in things like this that we see the flutter of a butterfly's wings that culminates in a hurricane of sadness that we all experience sooner or later... but that hurricane is proof that we are capable of appreciating those who were once part of our lives and are no longer there.

My Year at Oxford is one of those captivating, romantic, funny films, with that interesting drama that seems to show the same love story, but that can surprise. At one point, the antagonist and protagonist debate fiercely about the lack of justice without morality. This philosophical (and argumentative) aspect guides the entire script of this movie, which is a remake of 4x4: Bienvenido a bordo (an Argentine action movie directed by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat).

Everyone interprets life and love in their own way. In the end, all we have left is what we have experienced, nothing more, nothing less. What is certain is that everything ends in a second, and that is why we should not waste it. Perhaps people understand this when there is nothing left to do. Even if they think these are annoying topics, it is a reality. In an instant, everything ends, and those who have not lived or taken the risk of loving, I'm afraid to say, are screwed. There will be no turning back.
Congratulations to everyone that was chosen, and thank you to everyone posting in Movies and TV Shows! We look forward to the next report and highlighting even more of you.
