MOVIE REVIEW: “The Brutalist” (2024)
The script's construction relies heavily on technical aspects, which are certainly more likely to be appreciated by audiences with a deeper understanding of brutalist architecture. Therefore, this is a niche movie, and precisely because it lacks democratic access (narratively speaking), it offers a specific experience for a specific audience. This isn't to say that the rest of the audience can't "appreciate" what was created, but they will certainly do so with less intensity (and I offer myself as an example of this).

Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox (series): starts strong but then kind of fades
In particular, I think the overall series would be better if they had condensed the courtroom sessions a bit because much of this drags on and on to the point where you are no longer interested. Maybe they had no choice, maybe it was a producer decision that it must be 8 episodes long. It certainly seems that way to me and it wouldn't be the first time that producers made something bad or just not as good by making corporate decisions like this.

Throughout the three seasons, it was clear that the set design and all the elements in it were not there by chance; they were part of the story itself and conveyed the characters' feelings, their fears and the events to come, those that could not yet be explicitly expressed. Another characteristic feature of this story has been its soundtrack, something I love because if there is one thing I enjoy about productions, it is the music. There were moments when I felt they overdid it with this element, and it seemed more like my playlist on random mode without any pause, but in general I think the music became a hallmark of this series. Of course, they must have had quite a budget if they could afford to pay Taylor Swift's royalties 😂😂.

I watched WEAPONS to find out if it was really bad
I don't want to give too many details since it's one of those movies that's better to watch without knowing everything that awaits you. I don't want to say it's a perfect movie or the greatest work of art I've ever seen, but it did feel pretty good to see a different plot without knowing what awaits you in the next act. Although it has some plot holes that can be overlooked since the acting is quite good and makes you forget about those details, it's very important to me that it conveys the true emotions and reactions of an average person in such a situation, and this movie does that very well.

Love Reset: Way Back Into Love
Not a day would pass without them throwing sharp words and even things at each other. The love they once felt turned to hatred, and it grew bigger as they continued to live under the same roof. That’s why to end their miserable marriage, they decide to have a divorce. But 30 days before the end of their marriage, a life-changing accident happened. They were hit by multiple vehicles, yet miraculously, both of them survived at the expense of their memories. With their memories lost, their hatred for each other seemed to disappear, and with that, they’re back to being civil again.

The team's owner, Rebecca Welton (I envy her shapely arms), hires Ted Lasso, hoping to make him fail so she can get revenge on the team's previous owner, her unfaithful ex-husband. Everything changes thanks to the coach's personality and infectious good humor, which begin to win over Rebecca (by bringing them cupcakes he makes himself) and everyone on the team, while he loses his family.

Batman Azteca: Choque de Imperios - Movie Review
This film tells the story of how two worlds collide due to the ambition of a group of Spanish soldiers who invade and murder the leader of a village where there is a temple dedicated to "Tzinacan," translated as "The Bat God." At the moment of the attack, the son of the village leader, "Yohualli Coatl," flees and then trains and prepares himself not only to bring justice to those who took the lives of his father and other villagers, but also to protect his entire era. With this brief synopsis, it is clear that "Batman Azteca" is an excellent origin story. Despite having many differences from the well-known origin of Batman, it maintains the essence that death, in this case of one of his parents, is the main reason for his decision to become a vigilante and protector. With this, the story moves on to how a young man who has lost everything decides to grow up and take on the mantle of the Bat God to face the evil that has invaded his world, which also gives rise to the stories of other characters, especially Batman's great villain.
