As expected Britain’s governing Labour Party has recognised ‘Palestine’. This was an action that has been on the cards for a fair while now and is likely to have a whole host of negative outcomes, some expected and foreseeable and some that are not.
It’s important to point out that this action will do nothing for those Muslim Arabs who refer to themselves as ‘Palestinians’. It will not grow the economy in the areas that they are living in and nor will it bring the Middle East region any closer to a lasting peace. This action by Labour is primarily one that is connected to domestic politics rather than geopolitics. Labour’s decision to recognise ‘Palestine’ has probably been done to keep Britain’s Moslems on side with Labour.
Labour have for decades been the party of appeasement of Islam and we can see that quite clearly by the way that Labour councils have prioritised Islamic grievances and in some cases, such as with the Islamic Rape Gangs, turned a blind eye to criminality when the criminals are Moslem. Labour’s fee for all this appeasement has been the votes of Moslems. Moslems turn out to vote for Labour candidates and in turn Labour appease Islam and say nothing critical about this community.
It’s clear that this decision to recognise ‘Palestine’ was not motivated by any geopolitical need. There’s no pressure from the great powers such as the USA for Britain to do this, in fact I’d not be at all surprised if the current US government is mightily displeased with Britain’s actions.
This is Labour appeasing its Islamic voting base, nothing more nothing less. It is an attempt to keep the Moslems voting Labour and not have them defect to the various Gaza Independents / Jihad Alliance candidates or the Greens or the new YourParty/’Jezbollah’ outfit. There’s people out there comparing Labour’s decision to recognise ‘Palestine’ as comperable to the Neville Chamberlain selling out Czechoslovakia to Hitler in the late 1930’s. However I would say that this decision is worse. Chamberlain did at least buy some time for Britain to rearm and be better placed in the war that was on the horizon. Chamberlain did what he did in large part for the British nation whereas Labour’s appeasement of Islam over the ‘Palestine’ issue doesn’t even do that. It’s purely to protect Labour’s Islamic vote bank.
The only ‘Palestinians’ who will benefit from Labour’s decision will be the terrorists. I don’t believe that it will add one decent job for ‘Palestinians’ in either the Judea or Shomron areas (places which I believe should be a part of Israel as they gained them in a war that the Israelis didn’t want) and not help one ordinary ‘Palestinian’ climb out of poverty.
This decision could also rebound quite badly on the United Kingdom. Israel has one of the most advanced anti-terrorism intelligence capabilities in the world. Israel needs to know who wants Israelis dead and what sort of plans that the Islamic terrorists have for kiling Israelis. Israel has to be on top of the intelligence game as a matter of survival and as we saw on October 7th 2023, any failure in that intelligence or failure to take such intelilgence on board can be lethal for Israel and its citizens.
Because Israel is so damned good at keeping tabs on some of the worst Islamic savages on the face of the planet, other countries that are threatened by Islamic terrorism, including Britain, need the intelligence about Islamic terrorists that Israel can supply. It is quite possible that Israel could. because of Labour’s idiotic decision to recognise ‘Palestine’. decide that Britain is no longer a reliable intelligence partner and refuse to share such intelligenc with Britain and its security services. Such a decision might put ordinary Britons at far greater risk of death or injury from Islamic terrorist attacks than they would be if Israel was sharing anti-terror intelligence.
Then there is the issue of UK military assets that may or may not contain Israeli military technology. This decision by Labour might imperil such things as spares, servicing or software upgrades for the Israeli military tech that could be helping to defend Britain from potential threats.
Labour’s decision has in my view made Britian just that little more unsafe. Labour has pissed off Britain’s allies, especially the United States, emboldened Islamic extremists (who will continue to demand every higher prices for their community’s bloc votes), made the Israelis more wary of Britain and maybe injected a little bit more instability into the Middle East an area already renowned for not exactly being a paragon of geopolitical stability.
This was a bad decision by bad politicians from what has become a truly awful party. It is a decision that puts the majority of Britons who would rather that the UK took the Israeli counter-terror intelligence and didn’t again get involved too heavily in the region behind Labour’s Moslem bloc vote. This is truly a decision where Labour has put the Labour Party way beyond the country.
It is paying a nakedly obvious political Dangeld and they don’t seem to care that by paying such Danegeld to the Islamic extremists who hate Jews with a burning passion we’ll never get rid of the Dane or in this case the Islamic extremism. Labour have created a godawful mess that the politicians who come after them will have to work damned hard to sort out.
