Hello friends of @Hive and especially those of the @hivegarden community. I hope all your family and loved ones are well and in good health. It is a pleasure for me to share with you and especially to discover this community.

It is no less true the saying that nature is knowledgeable and I say this because I am living it day by day. My house is located on a plot of land that is a bit difficult to plant, as the soil contains glass and many plants are reluctant to grow there. But at the front of the house there is a patch of black soil that seems to contain good substrates. It adjoins the neighbour's yard, only a fence divides it and he planted an avocado tree.

With the passage of time it has become a large plant and is in very good health, but one of its branches, apparently in search of sunlight, has gone completely out to the front of the house. I don't know about other places in the world, but in Cuba the branch that goes over the fence to the other side belongs to the neighbour. This means that we have the right to the avocado trees that grow on the branch facing my doorway, which by the way is already over the roof.

This plant has been offering us its fruits for several years now, but this year in particular it has been offering them in abundance and above all of considerable size. But my branch is the best on the tree because it has so many avocados 😋. With the rain and the summer, they are almost ready to eat. So my husband set about the task of picking some of them before they fall to the ground and break.

This year's harvest has been very productive to the point of distributing them among the neighbours and the family so that everyone can taste them and enjoy their tastiness, as well as the fact that they are very nutritious and provide energy to the human body.

This type of avocado is characterised by having a thick, dry mass that gives you the possibility of savouring its texture and flavour. In addition, it has the peculiarity that when they start to turn purple from the beak, they should not be left to soften too much because otherwise they will spoil from the seed outwards and of course they will have a bad taste.

I really feel very happy with this plant that also benefited my family. My children love avocados and chase after them when they feel one fall on the ground, running around very happily saying to me: "Mum, I want you to make me a delicious avocado salad", and of course I am happy to oblige them.

The avocado also has many properties that allow it to be used in cosmetic recipes, especially for hair, as it moisturises and from time to time there is one that is too ripe to eat, I prepare a natural mask and apply it to my hair, leaving it soft and silky.

I hope you enjoyed the reading. The images taken are my own and were taken with my Tecno Spark Go 1 mobile phone and edited in Inshot. Text translated at DeepL. See you soon.
