Weekend experience. Trip to the beach

Cuba is a small island located in the Caribbean that precisely because it is there, makes it a tropical country, where almost all year round it is an eternal summer as we jokingly say here 🫠, but in the months of July and August is when the heat is the most suffocating and the sun ☀️ becomes imposing, and what we envy the most is to be all the time taking a dip to cool off.  Coincidentally and not by chance, during this period our children are at home enjoying a good holiday after a long period of classes at school, and what better opportunity than this to take them to the beach and take a dip, in addition to varying the routine.  So I will tell you about my family weekend experience and I say that because everyone wants to go on a trip to the beach. Saturday dawned, the day we were scheduled to go on this long awaited family trip, but especially for the children, because as children they hardly slept at last because they were so anxious and wished for the sun to rise.  The alarm sounded and I tell them that they jumped out of bed like springs, there was no need to wake them up, no need to give them a cuddle, nothing, they jumped to the floor, they got ready at the speed of light, even my youngest girl was hurrying me to get out. When I opened the door, I noticed that the sky was paved, ready for a downpour and my hopes for a good day were dashed to the ground.  Even so, I said nothing and we went to the place where the bus would pick us up. But we didn't go alone, we were also accompanied by my sister @mariolisrnaranjo and my brother in law @eduardo900613 with his child. At the waiting area we took a few snapshots to keep as a souvenir and you can see the excitement of the trip on our faces. Not to mention the kids, they even modelled for the photos. 😅  On the way to the beach the sky began to close and it started to rain, it was a heavy rain and I was incredulous to think that we would have a good day, because when it rains the sea gets itchy and the insects start to do their thing. But as my grandmother says, whenever it rains it always escapes, and so it did. To my surprise it hadn't rained there, the day was cloudy, but the sea was calm enough to invite you to take a dip.  We all said we had to make the most of it, so we went to the beach💦. The water was warm and delicious. The youngest girl, who had only been once before and didn't remember it, had a great time and the older one was a bit more fearful, but she gained confidence little by little and we were with them all the time. The children didn't even want to go out for lunch. But at about half past twelve the clouds disappeared ☁️y and the sun appeared, imposing and overwhelming. Fortunately we had brought hats with us, with a hat, because we should not expose ourselves to the strong ultraviolet rays.  We got out of the water and started to have lunch, the boys wanted to go back to the sea, but the sun was very strong and it was hard to keep them a little under the shade of some grape plants that are on the shore of the beach. In the meantime I was observing how people go to the beach, some to get rid of the stress of everyday life, others to have fun, others to sunbathe and share with their families, some even to meditate.  It was time to leave and we didn't even want to get on the bus, but we had to go back. The most important objective was fulfilled, which was to have fun and have a good time with the family and that day that seemed to be gloomy turned into a sunny day with lots of love. Life proved to me once again that hope is the last thing to go. It was a great weekend experience.  I hope you liked my weekend experience.
