I don't know if this happens to others, but just saying the number forty inspires respect in me, because that age is a very serious age. All these years have passed and I hadn't realised how quickly I had grown older and, as one of my neighbours says, I am already halfway there, based on the life expectancy in my country.
Of course, these years could not be overlooked, as not everyone gets to celebrate them and it is a once-in-a-lifetime event. It is true that I could not go all out, as we say here, because in everyday life there are other priorities that are also important and need to be addressed, but something was done, and well, my sister @mariolisrnaranjo was telling you about it here recently.
That day, I received many phone calls from family and friends, even some distant ones whom I hadn't heard from in a long time, and that filled me with great joy. But of course, my children, my mother, my husband, and my siblings, whom I love so much, couldn't miss this day. In addition to my brothers-in-law, whom I also hold in high esteem.
Looking at the photos and reminiscing about this day, I thank God for the time I have lived and for being able to enjoy my beautiful family. Seeing so many congratulatory messages and gestures of affection towards me, I think that I have made the most of my time and, of course, that I have done something right along the way.
Of course, I always hope that God will allow me to live many more years so that I can continue to enjoy these beautiful moments and be surrounded by my loved ones. My sister was right when she said I looked happy, because I was. What greater joy and glory than to feel loved by all of them, who are the most important thing to me.

Hola a todos los amigos de @Hive y en especial a los de esta hermosa comunidad que me ha acogido tan bien, @DailyBlog, haciéndome sentir bienvenida. En esta ocasión les vengo a contar sobre mí cumpleaños número 40.
No sé si a otros les pasará, pero el solo nombrar cuarenta, me inspira respeto, y es que esa edad es una edad muy seria. Todos estos años han pasado y no me había dado cuenta de que tan rápido me había vuelto mayor y como dice uno de mis vecinos ya llevo la mitad del camino recorrido, eso basándose en la esperanza de vida de mi país.
Por supuesto que estos años no se podían dejar pasar, pues esos no los cumple todo el mundo y es una sola vez en la vida😏. Es real que no pude tirar la casa por la ventana como decimos por acá porque en el día a día hay otras prioridades que también son importantes y que son necesarias atenderlas, pero algo se hizo, y bueno mi hermana @mariolisrnaranjo les estuvo contando hace poco por acá.
Ese día recibí muchas llamadas telefónicas de familiares y amigos, incluso de algunos lejanos y que hacía tiempo no sabía de ellos y eso me llenó de mucha alegría, pero por supuesto en este día no podían faltar mis hijos, mi madre, mi esposo y mis hermanos que tanto quiero. Además de mis cuñados que también les tengo en alta estima.
Al ver las fotos y rememorar este día, doy gracias a Dios por el tiempo vivido y por poder disfrutar de mi hermosa familia y al ver tantos mensajes de felicitaciones y tantos gestos de cariño hacia mi persona pienso que el tiempo vivido ha sido aprovechado y por supuesto de que algo bien he hecho durante el transcurso.
Por supuesto siempre con la esperanza de que Dios me permita vivir muchos años más para poder seguir disfrutando de estos momentos tan hermosos y poder estar rodeada de mis seres queridos. Mi hermana no se equivocó al decir que me veía feliz, pues si lo estaba, qué mayor dicha y gloria que sentirme amada por todos ellos, que son lo más importante para mí.
