Sometimes I Wonder How It Is That Almost Everything Is So Expensive And Unaffordable For The Average Citizen.

Hello friends. My name is @mrnatty, and today I want to talk to you about some things whose prices are rising daily in Nigeria.  Sometimes I wonder how it is that almost everything is so expensive and unaffordable for the average citizen. I still remember how a few years ago, 20,000 naira was quite enough to repair or renovate a room. With that, you could buy cement and paint and even pay the workers, and still have money left over. But today,  the situation is completely different. Even 100,000 naira is not enough to comfortably repair a room. If you add up the prices of cement, paint, and other materials, you realize that the money is not even enough to cover half the room. @freewritehouse The same goes for food. Rice, once affordable for many families, has turned to gold. Gari, beans, vegetable oil, and even bread are among the items whose prices are rising almost weekly. Transportation is another example.  What once cost only 100 naira now costs 200 or 300 naira, depending on the distance. @ecency @ocdb The situation makes life very difficult, especially for students, parents, and low income earners. When incomes don't increase and expenses continue to rise, frustration inevitable arises. I am convinced this is one of the reasons why many people leave their state to another state or rather leave country to seek better opportunities abroad because of low income I am even thinking of leaving my state to better state because things are very hard here. We work hard daily but nothing to show up from it. I pray that the situation will one day improve and our politicians will find a lasting solution to these challenges. Nigeria is a country with abundant resources, but it requires effective administration to make life affordable for the average citizen again. Thank you for your time, and may God bless you all.
