Hello, friends: Happy start to the week!
On Saturday, while taking photos in a fairly busy park in the city, something curious happened to me. Actually, nothing was going well, because I couldn't find much inspiration in what I saw around me. Suddenly, an agitated man approached me, thinking I was some kind of police officer who was chasing him and taking pictures of him. Clearly, the man was suffering from some kind of mental illness. Although I was able to get rid of him quickly, I lost the desire to continue in that area. That's when I said to myself, "Why don't you go to the Malecón?" Since it was relatively close, I arrived there in five minutes. The sea was completely calm, it was almost sunset, and the light was magnificent. I walked and took photos little by little, and here I show you...

This time there were some children chatting on the wall, always curious about me.

Fishermen aren't always lucky; this one, for example, went home frustrated after hours without results. I'm no psychologist, but that's the impression I got from his erratic, slow gait.
Other fishermen were lucky, they are quite a sight to behold.
The whole atmosphere of the city was peaceful; in fact, even the people had slowed down and taken a more leisurely pace. I don't know if it was the weather, since it wasn't that hot, but at least it gave me another chance to take the photos I wanted before nightfall. There was even a dog who loved the sea. His owner told me that he liked to sit there and look out at the ocean; it's amazing.

Hola, amigos: ¡feliz inicio de semana!
El sábado, mientras hacía fotos en un parque bastante concurrido de la ciudad, me sucedió algo curioso. En realidad, nada pintaba bien, porque no encontraba mucha inspiración en lo que veía a mi alrededor. De pronto, se me acercó un señor exaltado, porque pensaba que era una especie de policía que le estaba persiguiendo y retratando. Evidentemente, el señor padecía algún tipo de enfermedad mental. Aunque pude librarme rápido de él, se me quitaron las ganas de seguir en aquella zona. Fue entonces cuando me dije: «¿Por qué no vas al Malecón?». Como estaba relativamente cerca, en cinco minutos llegué al lugar. El mar estaba en total calma, ya casi era atardecer y la luz magnífica. Fui caminando y fotografiando poco a poco, y aquí les enseño...
Esta vez había algunos niños conversando sobre el muro, siempre curiosos conmigo.

No siempre tienen suerte los pescadores; este, por ejemplo, se marchó a casa frustrado después de horas sin resultados. No soy psicólogo, pero esa es la sensación que me dio por su caminar errático y lento.
Otros pescadores sí tuvieron suerte, son todo un espectáculo.
Toda la atmósfera de la ciudad era apacible; de hecho, hasta las personas habían bajado su ritmo y lo habían hecho más pausado. No sé si sería el clima, ya que no hacía tanto calor, pero al menos me dio otra oportunidad para hacer las fotos que quería antes de que cayera la noche. Incluso había un perro al que le encantaba el mar. Su dueña me dijo que le gustaba sentarse allí y mirar hacia el océano; es asombroso.
