Greetings, dear friends of #blackandwhite.
I think that, before going out to take photos, it would be helpful to review the history of the places we want to visit. That would add value to our photos. People may never know it, but at least it would help us find interesting stories. There is one factor that appeals to me in this regard: mystery. In fact, Cubans tend to be somewhat mysterious by nature, but there are places in Havana where mystery permeates every square meter. People watch you and act mysteriously. For obsessive thinkers like me, that is very appealing, and that is where I usually get most of the photos I share. Today we will have something similar: facades of houses that, in addition to the wear and tear of time and neglect, are very mysterious; as well as ordinary people and shadows that speak for themselves.
These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.
And I'm not exaggerating when I say these things to get your attention. Honestly, you have to walk through these places to realize how intriguing the atmosphere is. Saludos, amigos queridos de #blackandwhite.
Creo que, para salir a la calle a hacer fotos, sería de ayuda repasar la historia de los lugares que queremos visitar. Eso le aportaría un valor añadido a nuestras fotos. Tal vez las personas nunca lo sepan, pero al menos nos ayudaría a encontrar historias interesantes. Hay un factor que me atrae en este sentido: el misterio. De hecho, los cubanos solemos ser algo misteriosos por naturaleza, pero hay lugares en La Habana donde se respira misterio por cada metro cuadrado. Las personas te observan y actúan de forma misteriosa. Para los de pensamiento obsesivo como yo, eso nos atrae mucho, y de ahí suelo sacar la mayoría de las fotos que comparto. Hoy tendremos algo por el estilo: fachadas de viviendas que, además del desgaste por el paso del tiempo y el descuido, resultan muy misteriosas; ademas gente de a pie y sombras que hablan por sí mismas.
Y no exagero al contar estas cosas para llamar la atención, es que, sinceramente, hay que caminar por estos lugares para percatarse de la atmósfera tan intrigante que hay. Eso es lo que he querido plasmar en estas imágenes, espero haberlo logrado. Por ahora, me despido deseándoles lo mejor y agradeciéndoles su visita. ¿Qué imagen les pareció más misteriosa?
