***Hola #Hive Argentina*** Es un placer estar por acá para participar en esta iniciativa de Disco de vinilo del mes de septiembre, lo leí y desde allí he estado pensando que escribir sobre este tema tan interesante. En Venezuela para los años 60, 70, 80 y 90 fueron años de tanta relevancia musical que los discos de vinilo tuvieron mucho furor, en cada casa u hogar había un aparato para escuchar estos discos, todo tipo de música ya sea merengue, pasodobles, boleros, salsa, rock, románticas, música criolla, clásica y otra categoría.

In Venezuela for the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's were years of so much musical relevance that vinyl records were all the rage, in every house or home there was a device to listen to these records, all kinds of music whether merengue, pasodobles, boleros, salsa, rock, romantic, Creole music, classical and other category.
Había tanta felicidad que los tocadiscos emanaban sus sonidos en cada hogar, mi padre le compró a mi madre un pick-up, aún existe, a mi hermana de 01 año de edad le obsequio uno de batería, pequeño, portátil aún está en casa no sé si aún funciona, pero salía costoso por las baterías usaban 12 tamaños D.
Mi mamá tenía muchos discos, boleros de la época de Julio Jaramillo, Javier Solís, Pedro infante, hasta de rock and roll, Beatles y otros. Los tamaños eran variados, los de 45 rpm 7 pulgadas sonaban 01 canción por cada lado, de 78 rpm 10 pulgadas solo, por un lado, de 33 rpm 12 pulgadas de 05 o 06 canciones por cada lado. Recuerdo un Lp de Raquelita Castaño, Leo Dan, Sandro, los Master de Maracaibo, la dimensión latina.
Tenían un costo 40,00 Bs, en los establecimientos, pero en ferias se conseguía a 16,00 Bs. Cuando vaya a casa de mi mamá revisaré si aún existen algunos y prometo hacer otra publicación de colección.
Una canción de The Hollis no es una carga es mi hermano, solía escucharla de un disco de 45 rpm, todos los días. También la escuchaba en la radio Juventud, allí sonaba solo música moderna.

Esta iniciativa me hizo recordar la época de mi madre, ella tenía muchos discos, unos de los hermanos Gómez, guitarrista del estado Lara, además eran sus familiares (primos).
En mi adolescencia me incliné por el rock, y comencé a escuchar, aunque era en inglés, buscaba traducir, aunque fuera los títulos, como sería que bordé una camisa con mis artistas favoritos. Hubo una feria agropecuaria, había un stand de disco de vinilo y compré con mis ahorros este del grupo Kiss, además traía una funda o encarte de todas las imágenes de sus rostros por ambos lados.

In my adolescence I was inclined to rock, and I began to listen, although it was in English, I was looking to translate, even if it was the titles, as it would be that I embroidered a shirt with my favorite artists. There was an agricultural fair, there was a vinyl record stand and I bought with my savings this one of the group Kiss, it also had a sleeve or insert with all the images of their faces on both sides.
Luego compré en una tienda en la ciudad capital del estado llamada El Siglo 20 allí se pasaba el tiempo leyendo carátulas y compré uno de Melisa, una rockera venezolana, luego compré el de Jose luis Rodríguez.
En el mes de diciembre se acostumbraba comprar música de la Billo's Caracas boy's, para esa fecha cada año lanzaban un nuevo Lp, y en todos los hogares sonaban los pick up, los tres en uno, también plato, desk, cornetas, micrófonos de buena marca Pioneer. El problema más común que presentaban eran las agujas, entonces se tenían de repuestos para que no pararan de sonar y las fiestas siguieran jajaja.

En esa época había abundancia, y se reflejaban con fiestas semanales. Hasta se intercambiaban o se prestaban los discos, pero se corría el riesgo de perderlo.

También los discos de vinilo servían para curso de inglés. Mi esposo tiene uno que se lo obsequió, un cuñado que fue a Estados unidos en 1960 para un adiestramiento en agricultura. Luego llegó el casette se grabó el curso para que aprendiera nuestros hijos.

Vinyl records were also used for English courses. My husband has one as a gift from a brother-in-law who went to the United States in 1960 for agricultural training. Then came the cassette and the course was recorded for our children to learn.
