Greetings to meet traveling friends who I am very proud of. How happy I am today to be able to be present again in the midst of this community that we are proud of, and share again about our life journey, and of course we can also share here about every step in our journey every day. This time, the story of a trip to the most historic place, namely the ACEH TSUNAMI MUSEUM, this is a place full of mystery stories and also heartbreaking stories in the 2004 Aceh tsunami museum.
Since I arrived in front of the TSUNAMI MUSEUM, my heart felt like it was shaking to be able to enter this museum, because it seemed like there were a lot of noisy voices and moans coming from my ears due to the big disaster at that time, maybe that was just an illusion of my heart.
From outside the MUSEUM building, it looks like there are no people, those who come straight into the MUSEUM where they are visiting, maybe they are curious about what is inside, they actually want to know.
However, I also want to enter the museum room where there is a lot of history and sad stories that can be immortalized here, since the Aceh tsunami disaster occurred decades ago, the atmosphere has now started to improve after several years of improvements made by the local government. After I entered the ACEH TSUNAMI MUSEUM, I could notice several unique parts of the building, which were very long and circular.
In a sketch that was made, you can see that a city was hit by a tsunami at that time, and this was deliberately created so that you would not forget this heartbreaking event that happened in the Aceh region. Then I also had time to pay attention to several pictures from the display which were pictures of the earthquake and tsunami, I was in Aceh, there were a lot of these pictures, and I also had time to capture some pictures for you below.
several pictures of the 2024 tsunami incident
After I noticed a lot about the tsunami incident in this museum, I also wanted to go back, and my plan was also to take photos at this most magnificent mosque, it wouldn't be complete if I didn't immortalize this very beautiful mosque with my photos. After I returned to the car where I parked, I went straight to the mosque I was going to
Baiturrahman Mosque, Banda Aceh
That's it, friends, my experience and also my visit to an Aceh tsunami museum, which has made me curious all this time, and I hope this trip can broaden my insight into everything that happened in the Aceh region several years ago.
