Today I ventured to run an errand to a place I didn't know. Looking at the map, I saw that there were three routes, and well, to save fuel, I decided to take the shortest route, which was also the most remote. So, from Intercomunal Santiago Mariño Avenue, I took the junction that leads to El Porvenir Street, since that alternative route would take me to Santa Cruz, which was my destination. I drove while looking at the GPS, since I had never traveled that road before, so I drove rather slowly the entire way.
I liked that during the journey I saw rural areas with banana plantations, which gave me the feeling of being in a remote or agricultural place. The blue sky gave me a sense of calm, and it was also quite clear with very few clouds, which was ideal for driving long distances.
On the way, I came across an overpass called La Julia. When I climbed up there, I could see the fields and mountains in the distance, which was quite pleasant. Once I descended the overpass, I was closer to the municipality where Santa Cruz is located, so I was close to reaching my destination.
When I arrived, I felt calm, as traveling on unfamiliar roads always raises questions. I had the impression that I had discovered a route that would allow me to cut down on travel time when I need to return to Santa Cruz to run errands.
It was a pleasure to share my experience on the road today with the community. See you soon!
