This Monday, unexpectedly, we decided to go to the movie theater at the Parque Los Aviadores shopping mall to see the film “The Conjuring: Last Rites.” Whenever movies of this type are released, we try to see them. I have mentioned before that I like the horror and suspense genre, and well, we have seen the entire Conjuring saga in the theater since the first one was released. We chose the last showing of the night because we like to watch these types of movies with few people and in silence. While we waited for the movie to start (there was an hour to go), we decided to go to the food court to see what we felt like eating.

We finally decided on Chinese food, and I ordered rice with two side dishes consisting of chicken pieces with vegetables and sweet and sour pork with vegetables. Just looking at the photo of the dish, you can see that it was full of flavor and taste. I wanted to eat a lot of protein, so I chose the two side dishes described above. The cost of this dish was $9, which I thought was quite fair considering the generous portion size and quality. I will definitely return to this establishment.

Shortly before the showtime, we entered the movie theater, and I took the opportunity to take a couple of photos of the Supercines facilities, which is the name of the franchise. The exterior has an aviation theme, while the movie theaters are fairly standard. The movie started shortly after 9 p.m. (late for the dynamics of this city) and ended around 11 p.m. I will share my impressions and opinion of the movie later in the movie community, but for now I can say in general terms that I felt pleasure and some nostalgia when watching what appears to be the last movie in the aforementioned saga.

After leaving the movie theater, it was interesting to see how completely empty the mall looked. The food court, which is usually bustling with people, looked peaceful and quiet, with colorful lights that were very pleasing to the eye. It's interesting that you can only appreciate the virtues of a place when it's empty.

Another interesting thing to see was my truck completely alone in the gigantic parking lot of the shopping center, as well as the food court, which is usually full of cars. The darkness of the night in the background of the photo gave me a certain feeling of intrigue, but maybe I was just influenced by the movie haha. That's how Monday night went for me. Cheers!
