Today, which is Thursday to remember, come to me many moments lived during the years I lived in the Inca country, especially iconic places I visited both in the city of Lima and in other regions. In some past posts, I have shared with this blockchain images of wonderful places in the city, the historic center is very well preserved and in that sense it is pleasant to walk through the streets and enjoy the infrastructure.
This time you will see some photos taken on different days of the De Armas Square in the city of Lima, which is the most important in Peru because at its side lies the government palace, the cathedral and other important institutions of the country, so it makes sense that the environment of the square is in such good condition.
Walking around the square, taking pictures and having a drink was always a regular activity when going downtown on weekends, and although sometimes the spaces were crowded with people, it was still worth the experience, especially in winter because the cool climate was ideal for not feeling the effects of the strong summer sun.
Beyond the spaces of the square and its surroundings, the different streets and avenues that are in that radius are also in a perfect state of conservation, in remarkable that the authorities are in charge of maintaining the historical essence of the colonial infrastructures.
De Armas Square of the city of Lima is a place that I will always keep in my most precious memories, it has a wonderful architecture that evokes times that were probably better and that somehow takes us to the times of colonization and how the city evolved in later years.
