About 20 days ago, I shared my progress on the Duolingo app, which I am using to improve my English, on this blockchain. At that time, I was at level 21, so I had a long way to go to advance in what this app offers in terms of levels and, along with that, in terms of improving my understanding and learning in general. So, since then, I have committed to doing at least one lesson a day, but it is also true that there are days when I have set aside a little more time to progress more quickly in the app.
There have been days when I have done only one lesson, as well as others when I have even increased two levels, since, as I mentioned before, I have set aside more time, especially on Sundays. One positive aspect of this app is that it vigorously reminds you to do your daily tasks and, along with that, it also encourages you to do more than you initially set out to do. The dynamics and types of exercises that the app offers make learning interactive and even fun, so I really want to emphasize how this app managed to teach us English.
After practicing various topics, different tenses, and conjugations, I was able to advance quickly to level 30, in my opinion. Level 30 represents a milestone for a stage that is clearly more advanced, in which I am supposed to have a greater understanding of the English language. I was particularly happy to know that I could reach those levels so quickly, so I predict that I will continue to level up at the same speed or perhaps a little slower, considering that some grammatical aspects that I am surely unfamiliar with will become more difficult. However, I am confident that I can still advance many levels on a weekly basis, so that I can continue to improve my English in that regard.
Something interesting about this app is that I have learned many words and corrected some grammatical aspects that I was sure I could handle, so I have perfected those elements or flaws that I had in my English, and that is undoubtedly a plus point for this activity that I am doing with the app. According to the app, at my current level, I can hold simple everyday conversations. This gives me some peace of mind because I could communicate with English speakers. Maybe in a simple way, but at least I will be able to maintain stable communication.
Obviously, the goal is to understand a little more and be able to have more in-depth conversations, so that communication flows more smoothly. I was very happy to know that I could communicate with other people, at least in a simple way, because I realized that my English is better than I thought. It's a language that I've always liked and been interested in, which is why I have basic knowledge of it, but I think I underestimated myself and didn't fully accept that I had already learned a certain level. It's just that maybe we sabotage ourselves, eh, no, we don't interpret the knowledge we may have. The truth is that in the successive levels or those to come, there is a lot to learn, and I think this app is going to help me a lot to delve deeper into the wonderful world of English.
My wife also recommended that I use artificial intelligence tools to improve my English, but for now I want to use the Duolingo app, as I like its interactivity and dynamism. I may use those AI apps in the future, but not at this time. They are all welcome, but I am very happy with the app and how it provides tools for me to learn and improve my English.
