Drone Aerial Photography - From the air, the traditional moment of harvesting fish in the reservoir before the planting season

Hello, fellow members of the Drone community! Today, I'm once again going to show you some of the photos I took with my DJI Mavic Air 2 drone camera.  In this post, I want to share my experience flying a drone and share some of the aerial shots I captured with my drone camera. > Pada postingan kali ini, saya ingin menceritakan pengalaman menerbangkan drone, sekaligus membagikan beberapa hasil jepretan udara yang saya abadikan melalui kamera drone kepada kalian semua.   Last month, I visited a village not too far from where I live in the city. The trip to the village only took about 30 minutes. > Bulan lalu, saya berkunjung ke sebuah desa yang jaraknya tidak terlalu jauh dari tempat tinggal saya di perkotaan. Perjalanan menuju desa tersebut hanya memakan waktu sekitar 30 menit.   This village is known as an agricultural area, and most of its residents are farmers. The rice fields are a prominent feature, especially since the village is situated among hills. There are no rivers, so the rice fields rely on rainwater; the rice fields in this village are known as rain-fed rice fields. > Desa ini dikenal sebagai daerah pertanian, dan sebagian besar warganya berprofesi sebagai petani. Pemandangan sawah menjadi ciri khas yang menonjol, apalagi desa ini terletak di antara perbukitan. Tidak ada aliran sungai di sana, sehingga areal persawahannya mengandalkan air hujan, arial persawahan di desa ini yang dikenal sebagai sawah tadah hujan.  According to local residents, this village has a rainwater reservoir located on the outskirts of the village. The reservoir's water comes entirely from rainwater collected during the rainy season. In addition to irrigation, the reservoir is also used by residents to raise tilapia fish. The fish are usually harvested during the planting season, coinciding with the release of the reservoir's water into the rice fields. > Menurut cerita dari warga setempat, desa ini memiliki sebuah waduk penampung air hujan yang terletak di pinggiran desa. Air waduk sepenuhnya berasal dari air hujan yang ditampung selama musim penghujan. Selain untuk irigasi, waduk ini juga dimanfaatkan warga untuk memelihara ikan mujair. Ikan-ikan tersebut biasanya dipanen ketika musim tanam tiba, bertepatan dengan saat air waduk dilepaskan atau dialirkan ke sawah.  Interestingly, the process of harvesting fish in this reservoir has been a tradition passed down through generations. When the reservoir waters begin to recede, the villagers, men and women, adults and children, will collectively descend into the reservoir to net fish. The fish caught are then collected and distributed equally among the villagers. > Menariknya, proses panen ikan di waduk ini telah menjadi tradisi turun-temurun. Saat air waduk mulai surut, warga desa tersebut baik pria maupun wanita, dewasa maupun anak-anak. Secara bersama akan turun langsung ke waduk untuk menjaring ikan bersama-sama. Ikan yang berhasil ditangkap kemudian dikumpulkan dan dibagikan secara merata kepada seluruh warga desa.  When I witnessed this moment, I immediately thought the scene would be stunning if captured from the air. As it turned out, the results were truly satisfying. From my drone camera, I could clearly see the residents busy netting fish, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the reservoir, dotted with rows of coconut trees. > Ketika melihat momen itu, saya langsung berpikir bahwa pemandangannya akan sangat menarik jika diabadikan dari udara. Ternyata benar, hasilnya sungguh memuaskan. Dari kamera drone, saya bisa melihat dengan jelas aktivitas warga yang sibuk menjaring ikan, dikelilingi pemandangan indah waduk yang dihiasi deretan pohon kelapa di sekelilingnya.
