A Short Story For E261 SOUL
In a small village, there was a boy named Soul. The village was not too far from the city, so it was a relatively prosperous village. Soul's father was a keyboard teacher at a church. Soul's father wanted him to become a keyboard teacher like him, so he taught Soul to play the keyboard from a young age.
On the other side of the desire to do good, there is always evil. Soul is one of those evils. Soul mistakenly believes that his family's poverty is because his father doesn't work and just plays the keyboard. One day, Soul started drinking with his friends. When he came home drunk at night, he would accuse his father of "we are poor because of you" and punch him. His mother tried to stop him, but he couldn't. Soul's father forgave Soul. However, Soul didn't know that Soul's father had an incurable disease.
One day, Soul came home drunk as usual. He was angry and called out to his father. But his father did not come to him as before. Instead, he found his mother crying in the living room. Soul asked his mother, "Where is that guy?" His mother didn't answer, so Soul angrily came to his father's room and saw his father dead. He couldn't believe it. His mother said, "Before your father died, he told me to take good care of you. He loved you so much, son..."
Soul remembered back the time his father kissed him when he was young. And he remembered back the time his father taught him the keyboard. Then he remembered the time he had drunk and cursed his father. Tears rolled down Soul's cheeks. He regretted that he had made a huge mistake. In fact, his father had deposited the money for Soul at the bank that he earned from teaching the keyboard. When Soul turned 21, Soul could withdraw this money himself. Use this money to improve Soul's life. By the time you read this letter, your father will no longer be in this world. Soul started crying and sobbing as he read his father's will.
Since then, Soul has been diligently learning to play the keyboard. He has composed and sung songs for his father. His songs are tears that flow from his deep heart. Soul's songs have become a best-selling song, and Soul has become a famous keyboard teacher. Soul has shed tears while talking about his father on a TV program. Soul said that the tears that fell from his right eye were tears of regret, and the tears that fell from his left eye were tears of joy because he was able to fulfill his father's wish.
