A short visit to NiePaYar: My Thoughts

Today I made a short visit to NiePayar which is located in Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar. This Buddha image is notable because it is made of bamboo. This temple is located on a hill. In most pagodas you can find works of art of our people. In most southeast countries, the culture and artwork are closest to each other.

My thoughts for today How many times in our lives have we had dreams but never accomplished them? Letters that I intended to write but ended up not writing, things I thought I would eat but didn't, things I thought I would buy but didn't. Usually, what I imagined and what I actually did didn't match up. Life will not be always what you want to be. Sometimes, life becomes what you don't want it to be. This is impermanence. It is also uncertainty. This is what makes our human lives better and better.

If we were sure we wouldn't die, if we were sure we would have enough food, if we were sure there would be no diseases, if we were sure there would be no wars, our human thinking and abilities would not improve. So I think that uncertainty makes our lives better.
