Today is my daughter's birthday and Sunday is my granddaughters. I bought my granddaughter a camera that prints out pictures and I thought she would like to take some of us while we are here so I gave it to her today.
Last night I slept in the same room as my daughter. I use the word slept lightly. This morning, I told her that she needed to make a doctor's appointment and see if she could get one of those breathing machines for her snoring. She said she wished she could, but for her insurance to help pay, she has to meet a 10 thousand dollar deductible, That is crazy, but I think she needs to figure out some way to see a doctor.
Since she is the one paying for the rental house, I can not eject her from the room, so I will be sleeping on the couch for the rest of our stay. I do not mind sleeping in the living room and want her to be comfortable.
We were all slow to get going today, not leaving the house until almost 1 o'clock. There is a hot water spring not far from the house and I was excited to go to it. When we arrived there we found out it was going to cost us 60 dollars to enter it. That seemed crazy to me and them so we went to the beach. I was shocked at how many people were there. It was also very windy so the surf was stirred up so visibility was not good for diving.
The reason we came here is because I had been telling my daughter that I wanted to go to Manasota Key beach to look for shark's teeth. I guess most of the people on this beach wanted to do the same thing. There were a lot of them with sandflea rakes digging for the shark teeth, This is all I found, and to tell the truth, I was surprised I found that many.
This is the sidewalk leading to the bathrooms at the beach, all of the black spots are shark's teeth that they laid in the concrete.
This is the biggest one I saw in the sidewalk. I wondered how many people have tried to chisel it out. It was tempting to try, but I refrained.
I am tired so this is all I am going to write, good night.
