One of my daughters bought this contraption for my birthday. She knows that I spend every day pulling weeds, and thought this weed puller was what I needed. What she did not know is about 90% of the weeds I pull are in pots with good plants, and this will not work for that. I do not want to hurt her feelings, but what I would like to do with it is button it back up in this huge box they sent it in and send it back.
It was already in a box, and they put this skinny box in a 4 foot long 2 foot wide, and 2 foot deep box. Imagine the room it took up on the truck.
I would only recommend this thing if you have flat weeds with a thick center or small clumps of grass. For other weeds, I will keep pulling them by hand.
RUDY UPDATE
Rudy is doing better. The last two days, he has had good bowel movements. I know he likes his treats and all of the grass, sweet potato vines, and other green things I give him, but I think that is what caused his problem. Even though it makes me feel bad not to give as much to him, I now know he needs to eat more hay than fresh greens.
I do not blame him, if I had my choice of fresh greens or dry hay, I would choose the fresh greens.
