We cut back our wax myrtle trees, and today I made one of them into a bottle tree. I had some of the bottles, and yesterday at the river, I found a few more. I used a drill to start the nail holes, then, using my left hand, I hammered the nails the best I could. It still hurt my right hand from only trying to hold the nail with it. I did not get the nails in very far, but I hope they hold.
This is my old bottle tree. It is made from a fat lighter log. I made it not long after we moved here. It is mostly old soda bottles like Mountain Dew, Pepsi, Coke, Jolt, and Sprite. I wish I could find more soda bottles that were made from glass.
I did not want to rant about the middle sister, AGAIN BUT!!! This prompt is fitting because I feel like the lost ward. My youngest sister and middle sister are living in my mom's house. The middle sister's daughter was there today, and they tried to gang up on the little sister. Until today, my niece has only heard her mother's side of things. My little sister's beef is not only the money she will not give her, but she does nothing around the house, she comes in and goes to her room. The little sister is sick of doing everything, even the yardwork. My niece asked her mother what she had to say about it, and she would not comment. Hopefully, my niece came away seeing things differently.
Then my niece tells my little sister that I should be making a third of the mortgage payment. This sister thinks as I think, they are paying 600 a month each to live there, and for two years they rented out two rooms that more than covered the mortgage. I never asked for any of the rent money. I will be talking to my niece, and if she feels I should make part of the payment, I will, but they can either move out, and we can rent it for one thousand over the payment and split that money. Or I will rent one of the rooms to cover my payment, the middle sister does not want this. Any time something needs to be fixed, I pay my part, plus I am the one who goes over there and fixes the things that break. I do not get paid for this, and the middle sister never comes out to help like the younger one does. The last job was a broken sewer line, it was nasty, but I fixed it for them.
I will also tell her about how her mother asked Mom for everything of value in the house before she passed, and took it, and then when Mom passed, she went through Mom's room without either of us there and took what she wanted. I know Mom had stocks, jewelry, and a pistol in her room, plus antiques. Neither of us has seen any of them. All I asked for was a book and a box of bandanas that mom had asked for, and she told mom she did not have them. I saw she had them, and she will not even give either of them to me. I swear she must be adopted. Yes, I am pissed. photos are mine
