Good evening, fellow travel lovers.❤️
Reuleung Manyang is a very haunted place, located in Calok Village. It's also an ancient historical site. Tonight, I'd like to invite you to experience Reuleung Manyang with me. I made this trip a few days ago with my friend. We were bored and fed up with our daily routine, so we decided to visit Reuleung Manyang on the beach. While relaxing on a high cliff, we admired nature, breathed in the fresh air, and listened to the crashing waves. We left at 2:00 PM. The journey took about an hour from my village. Along the way, I saw interesting things, such as the scenery and the very cool atmosphere during the day.
A few minutes later, we arrived at Pandrah Bridge. This bridge looked like it had collapsed. This happened so long ago that the collapse of this suspension bridge remains a mystery.
We stopped for a moment to take some photos of the bridge to share with you all here.
After taking some photos, we finally decided to continue our journey to our destination. In the end, we didn't stop anywhere to speed up our journey. Long story short, we arrived there. At first, I thought there was no one there. It turned out there were still people hanging out under the big trees there. Honestly, when I arrived there, I felt a different sensation than before. Even though the weather was very hot, this place was very beautiful, the natural atmosphere was truly extraordinary.
Before climbing, I asked permission from a local resident who was hanging out there. We explained our purpose for coming here, and we finally got permission. I was very happy that this place was now off-limits. Perhaps there were other factors that made it forbidden to enter carelessly. As I stepped onto the high cliff area, I shuddered at the sight of the large, ancient trees there. I couldn't imagine what the weather would be like without them. The presence of these large trees makes this place a magnet for visiting scientists.
The tree was nothing compared to the other large and intimidating trees. I stared at it for a long time before finally daring to approach it. Then I immediately took the opportunity to take the best photos so you wouldn't be disappointed by the uniqueness of Manyang Reuleung. At the time, I was alone at the summit. I watched my friend explore the small caves beneath the cliff. What made me even more chilling was the fact that this place also houses the burial grounds of the Dutch who colonized Aceh in the 1000s.
I didn't linger near the tree; instead, I headed straight to the cliff's edge to take in the coastal views. I felt very satisfied with the day's journey.
From the edge of the cliff, I looked down at a truly stunning angle. I quickly sought the right position and was very careful when stepping sideways, as I didn't know there were no unlucky days on the calendar. Therefore, here I tested my courage to take a photo to witness the true natural environment firsthand. And I also found the perfect spot to take a photo with my phone camera. See the photo of the cliff angle below.
Shortly after, I immediately went downstairs to catch up with my friend who was downstairs. So, friends, this is what the historical site called Reuleung Manyang looks like. I hope you enjoyed this post. I'm very grateful to all of you who took the time to visit my blog tonight. All photos are my own. I took them using the Redmi 9C camera and edited them using the Lightroom app.
