El 28 de Enero en el Estado Zulia se conmemora el Día de la Zulianidad, fecha en la que los zulianos celebramos las tradiciones y costumbres para enaltecer nuestro gentilicio. En los colegios esta celebración dura toda una semana, donde los niños participan en diferentes actividades tales como: exposiciones, bailes, paseos, etc, para darles a conocer las tradiciones y otros elementos culturales que nos distiguen como zuliano. Es por ello que la maestra planificó un paseo para visitar los sitios turísticos más importantes, y me preguntó si quería acompañarla para ayudar con los niños, yo por supuesto que acepté encantada, ya que me gusta apoyar a la maestra y al colegio en todo lo que pueda y más si mis hijos están involucrados. >On January 28 in the State of Zulia, the Day of Zulianity is commemorated, the date on which we Zulians celebrate traditions and customs to exalt our nationality. >In schools, this celebration lasts a whole week, where children participate in different activities such as: exhibitions, dances, walks, etc., to introduce them to the traditions and other cultural elements that distinguish us as a Zulian. >That is why the teacher planned a trip to visit the most important tourist sites, and she asked me if I wanted to accompany her to help with the children, of course I gladly accepted, since I like to support the teacher and the school in everything that I can and more if my children are involved.  
Fuimos tres representantes y tres maestros para apoyar porque una salida con tantos niños no es una tarea fácil como se podrán imaginar. Estabamos todos esperando en el salón de clases y cuando llegó el trensito, comenzamos a sacar a los niños y acomodarlos, ellos estaban muy emocionados ya que era la primera vez que iban hacer un viaje tan largo en trensito porque generalmente cuando pasean en él los trayectos son cortos. >We were three representatives and three teachers to support because an outing with so many children is not an easy task as you can imagine. >We were all waiting in the classroom and when the little train arrived, we began to take the children out and accommodate them. They were very excited since it was the first time that they were going to take such a long trip on the little train because generally when they take the journeys they are short.    
El primer sitio turístico más significativo e importante que visitamos fue la Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Chiquinquirá, allí bajamos y tomamos muchas fotografías aunque no pudimos entrar ya que había que pedir un permiso, luego de allí pasamos por la iglesia Santa Bárbara, el Teatro Baral, El Palacio de Gobierno, el Palacio Legislativo, La Catedral, La plaza Bolívar, La Biblioteca del Estado "Maria Calcaño", entramos a la Vereda del Lago, el parque más grande de nuestra ciudad y recorrimos muchos otros lugares turísticos, antes de llegar al colegio. >The first most significant and important tourist site that we visited was the Basilica of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá, there we went down and took many pictures although we could not enter since we had to ask for a permit, after there we passed by the Santa Bárbara church, the Baral Theater , The Government Palace, the Legislative Palace, the Cathedral, Bolívar Square, the "Maria Calcaño" State Library, we entered the Vereda del Lago, the largest park in our city and visited many other tourist places, before arriving to school.      
Todos estabamos muy contentos por el recorrido que se hizo ya que pudimos visitar muchos lugares, el viaje fue todo un éxito, los niños se comportaron excelente y no hubo ningún contratiempo, aunque se que la logística para hacer estos viajes por parte del colegio y la maestra es difícil, espero que más seguido puedan hacerlo porque los niños lo disfrutan mucho. Las fotos fueron tomadas con un teléfono inteligente Samsung A12 y el texto fue convertido al inglés con el traductor de Google.
