Hola amigos de Motherhood, espero se encuentren bien, y que la caminata o carrera de la maternidad les este tratando bien, hace algún tiempo que nos les cuento las aventuras que Miguel y yo hemos vivido, para ponerlos al día nos mudamos de pais y llegamos acá en verano, por lo cual decimos dar algunos paseos cortos ajustados al presupuesto claro esta, en parte para que Miguel conozca un poco lo que va hacer su nuevo hogar y se enamore de los paisajes y cultura.
> Hello, friends of Motherhood, I hope you are all well, and that the journey or race of motherhood is treating you well. It's been a while since I told you about the adventures Miguel and I have had. To bring you up to date, we moved countries and arrived here in the summer, so we decided to take a few short trips, on a budget of course, partly so that Miguel could get to know his new home a little and fall in love with the landscapes and culture.
Miguel es un amante y protector de la naturaleza, por tal motivo una tarde decimos ir a conocer los campos de lavanda, de la Brihuega aproximadamente a 2 hrs. de la Madrid, el iba un poco ansioso durante el camino preguntando si faltaba mucho, que íbamos hacer allí, que íbamos a comer, a media que trascurrió la tarde sus dudas se fueron aclarando, llevamos ropa cómoda porque el calor alcanzaba temperaturas mayores a 37 grados, al llegar caminamos por el pueblo, lo primero que te encuentras es un plaza enorme con una fuente con muchas plantas alrededor y un parque donde Miguel fijo su objetivo, prometimos que después de recorrer el pueblo podría pasasearse un rato.
> Miguel is a lover and protector of nature, so one afternoon we decided to go and see the lavender fields in Brihuega, about two hours from Madrid. He was a little anxious during the trip, asking how much further it was, what we were going to do there, what we were going to eat, As the afternoon went on, his doubts were cleared up. We wore comfortable clothes because the heat reached temperatures above 37 degrees Celsius. When we arrived, we walked through the village. The first thing you come across is a huge square with a fountain surrounded by lots of plants and a park where Miguel set his sights. We promised that after touring the village, he could walk around for a while

Recorrimos el pueblo, cada lugar mas bonito que el anterior, durante el recorrido pudimos ver que todo era de lavanda desde jabón hasta licor, Miguel quería un helado y le ofrecieron uno d lavanda, pero prefirió irse por lo seguro de mantecado, yo si me decidí por uno de lavanda, el sabor no era agradable, Miguel tiene muy buen sentido del olfato y del gusto, al probarlo dijo que sabia a romero 😄, no muy alejado de la realidad por que ambas plantas son familia, luego de recorrer lo mas emblemático del pueblo, regresamos a la plaza, en ese momento pudo disfrutar del parque antes de ir a los campos de lavanda.
> We walked around the village, each place more beautiful than the last. During our tour, we saw that everything was made from lavender, from soap to liqueur. Miguel wanted an ice cream and they offered him a lavender one, but he preferred to play it safe and go for vanilla. I decided to try the lavender one, but the flavor wasn't pleasant. Miguel has a very good sense of smell and taste, and when he tried it, he said it tasted like rosemary 😄, which wasn't far from the truth because both plants are related. After visiting the most emblematic parts of the village, we returned to the square, where he was able to enjoy the park before going to the lavender fields.

Decidimos esperar el atardecer para ir a los campos de lavando, quedaban como a 10 min. en carro del pueblo, nos dirigimos allí, al llegar nos impresiono que no tenían fin, Miguel salió corriendo por que quería llegar hasta el final, pero un señor que estaba allí le explico que los campos cubrían dos pueblos y que era muy lejos el final, por lo cual desistió de la idea, disfrutamos de la fragancia de las flores, del atardecer, hicimos algunos ejercicios de respiraciones conscientes, tomamos muchas fotos, caminamos, corrimos nos ensuciamos. Fue un paseo realmente bonito, donde Miguel interactuó con la naturaleza, gasto mucha energía, conocimos un lugar nuevo, los usos de la lavanda que son muchísimos no solo cosméticos, durante la tarde creamos momentos que quedaran en nuestra memoria, que al final de la historia es lo mas valioso de nuestras vida.
> We decided to wait until sunset to go to the lavanda fields, which were about a 10-minute drive from the village. We headed there, and when we arrived, we were impressed by how endless they seemed. Miguel ran off because he wanted to reach the end, but a man who was there explained that the fields covered two villages and that the end was very far away, so he gave up on the idea. We enjoyed the fragrance of the flowers and the sunset, did some conscious breathing exercises, took lots of photos, walked, ran, and got dirty. It was a really nice outing, where Miguel interacted with nature, expended a lot of energy, and we discovered a new place and learned about the many uses of lavender, not just in cosmetics. During the afternoon, we created moments that will remain in our memory, which, at the end of the day, is the most valuable thing in our lives.

Durante mi infancia, no teníamos muchos lujos, pero mi mama siempre se esforzó para en vacaciones fuéramos algún lugar de paseo, y recuerdo cada lugar que visitamos, que comimos y que hicimos, y es lo que quiero que Miguel también recuerde, cada paseo, cada experiencia nueva, el tiene una memoria olfativa muy buena, y cada vez que siente el olor a lavanda o ve la planta recuerda nuestro paseo, eso llena mi corazón, llenar su memoria de recuerdos agradables. Les voy a dejar la foto el atardecer.
> During my childhood, we didn't have many luxuries, but my mom always made an effort to take us somewhere on vacation, and I remember every place we visited, what we ate, and what we did. and that's what I want Miguel to remember too, every trip, every new experience. He has a very good olfactory memory, and every time he smells lavender or sees the plant, he remembers our trip. That fills my heart, filling his memory with pleasant memories.
