This shadow picture I had clicked at the Chaplin House. This is the house where the legendary Charlie Chaplin lived for around 25 years of his life. It was called the Chaplin estate which was spread over a 14 hectare land with beautiful views. I must say he surely had a good taste of the nature. This house is in the town of Vevey.
The house showcases the life of Charlie Chaplin and his family, the whole place is converted in to a museum and I can say it's worth a visit if you are in Switzerland. There are film studio set ups, exhibition room and all his film work at display. I have grown up watching Charlie Chaplin movies and it was always so delightful. His comedy timing was perfect. But in real life there was too much pain in his life, so I wonder how did he still manage to bring in so much humour into his film characters and made everyone laugh, especially the children.
The steps going from ground to first floor, which has the shadow of the railings. Lives fade out but somethings never fade and they are there forever like this shadow.
It is always interesting to visit these kind of places and understand the full story behind the scenes. Here near the steps is his statue
