There are many people in who have brought inspiration to me in my life. There are two sets of them, one who I personally know and the other who are some legends and have a deep mark on me.
From the people I know, there are quite a few, my father being on top of the list. His life was filled with extreme hardships but with all of that also he took such good care of me and my sister as a single parent. He took care of us both like a father and mother, and in the bargain, he kept sacrificing all his happiness. I could sense he was so lonely and that loneliness he accepted only for us. Financially he was not very stable, but yet he provided us everything and kept on sacrificing on his needs all throughout his life. In the end he did not even spend money on his medical condition which got very severe and took away his life. Me and my sister were very young then, so we did not have much idea of it.
His sacrifices were one part of inspiration and his values were another part. He taught some very valuable lessons of life, from which honesty being the top most. I know every parent does things for their children, but when I compare other parents to my father, I always feel he was exceptional and one needs a very large heart to do all of that what he did for us. The only set back he had in life was, he had alcohol addiction and that ruined many things for him. To not spend more money on it, he drank very cheap alcohol which deteriorated his health completely. All the time he would think of our well-being. At some stage when children grow up, parents start thinking for themselves too, but in his case, he never did till he died.

The other person that inspires me the most is the Late Dr. Abdul Kalam. He came from a very humble background and yet he achieved such great heights in life. He became the aerospace scientist and took India to new heights in the field of space programs. He never had those kinds of resources to scale such heights but that was never a setback for him. With his knowledge and determination, he kept moving up, and finally also became the president of India.
I have always admired his contributions not only towards building space technology but also as a person the values he held. Even with such great accomplishments he lived a humble life in simplicity and gave some good lessons to the generations down the line. All his work was aligned with the greater good of the society and he never had personal greed of accumulating wealth. He was a true leader who led his life with walking the talk. His story will make every ordinary person believe that nothing is impossible in life.
