It's been around 3 months that this site has been inaugurated but I have not been able to visit. Last evening me and hubby had nothing much to do, so we decided to go to this site where they have made the tallest Flag Pole of the country Oman. There is just not the Flag pole but they have also made a nice garden out there. This place was just a barren land previously but now it's turned into a small recreational place with the Flap pole to visit.
It's a 126 meter long pole, which makes it also one of the tallest man made structure of Oman. In this country there are no sky scrappers, the maximum a building can be constructed is up to 10 floors. This retains the beauty of the place and hence in whichever part of the city you are, one can see the mountains and the ocean around and now also the Flag Pole.
There are times when the flag is tucked up to the pole, I am not sure why that is being done, it does not happen on all days, only on few days, else most of the time it is flying. Yesterday when we visited it was tucked up.
That's the base which has a nice boundary cover, so that people stay away from it.

We spent some leisure time here, it was quiet and peaceful
There is nothing much to do here, except that one can come here take a walk around the park and chill out. It's a quiet peaceful place.
