Monomad: The feathered watchman [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Have you ever had that feeling that someone or something is watching you? As I was walking down the street, I had this feeling, and when I decided to look up, I came across this feathered watchman, who was observing from above, perhaps searching for prey or just resting for a while.

¿Alguna vez has tenido esa sensación de que alguien o algo te observa? Cuando iba caminando por la calle, tuve esta sensación y cuando decidí mirar hacia arriba, me topé con este vigilante emplumado, el cual observaba desde las alturas, quizás en busca de presas o solo descansaba un rato.

When I noticed this, I took out my camera and started taking some pictures. Obviously, it was quite a distance away, and I was taking pictures from the street, but I also moved closer. However, it didn't seem to like that very much and started moving around a bit more, until it decided to fly away.

Al percatarme de esto, saqué mi cámara y empecé a hacer algunas fotografías. Evidentemente, estaba a una distancia considerable en la altura y yo, desde la calle que hacía algunas fotografías, me acercaba también, pero al parecer no le gustaba del todo y empezaba a moverse un poco más, hasta que decidió volar.

Luckily for me, it didn't fly very far, landing on top of a church, so I took the opportunity to take a few photos from that other perspective, and seeing it in black and white certainly gives the impression of calmly surveying the situation before taking action.

Por suerte para mí, no se fue muy lejos, se posó en lo alto de una iglesia, por lo cual aproveché para hacer también unas pocas fotografías desde esa otra perspectiva y sin duda viéndolo en blanco y negro, da esa sensación de vigilar con tranquilidad antes de actuar.

There are few occasions when I can take pictures of birds, mainly because my camera lens is quite basic and I don't have a great zoom, but I am certainly delighted with these photos, so I hope you like them too, dear friends in the community. Son pocas las ocasiones en las que puedo hacer fotografías a aves, más porque el lente de mi cámara es bastante básico y no tengo un gran Zoom, pero sin duda estoy encantado con estas fotografías, por lo que espero que les gustaran a ustedes también, queridos amigos de la comunidad.
