En la segunda jornada de la actual temporada de la UEFA Champions League, se llevó a cabo en el Estadio Olímpico Lluís Companys, uno de los enfrentamientos más esperados por los aficionados al fútbol, me refiero al FC Barcelona vs. Paris Saint-Germain FC; este es sin ninguna duda un encuentro que generó expectativas aunque para el momento que ocurriese, muchos de los protagonistas no estuvieron en su mejor condición física o estuvieran ausentes por lesiones, como por ejemplo el actual ganador del Balón de Oro, Ousmane Dembélé.
Está es la tercera oportunidad en que el Barça se enfrenta al PSG de Luis Enrique, la anterior ocasión fue en la temporada 2023-2024 de la UCL, en dónde el club francés se impuso a los culés en la disputa de los cuartos de final del prestigioso torneo por un marcador global de 6 a 4; está es la segunda oportunidad en que el PSG enfrenta al Barça en el estadio olímpico de Montjuic y en dónde nuevamente supera a los catalanes obteniendo una importante victoria en dónde los parisinos fueron superiores y en dónde acciones arbitrales fueron influyentes favoreciendo a los visitantes.

Quiero primeramente enfocarme en lo futbolístico con respecto al desempeño del PSG en su nueva vista a Cataluña; el equipo de Luis Enrique con bajas importantes en su ataque (jugadores titulares) supo darle protagonismo a un tridente de atacantes jóvenes quienes no se inmutaron al enfrentar al Barcelona; este es sin ninguna duda el primer acierto del entrenador español quien supo cómo y cuando atacar a su rival y eso creo que pudo observarlos después de que el Barça disminuyera su intensidad en tan solo la mitad del primer tiempo; es ahí el momento en dónde el PSG, eso sí con jugadores jóvenes en el ataque, pero con el tridente titular en el medio campo y con dos potencias físicas de laterales, fue que se hizo enorme y así comenzar a doblegar a su rival, uno que a pesar de estar en desventaja por su condición física, de igual manera generó ocasiones de peligro, pero al no concretarlas, era de esperar que el PSG si pudiera obtener esa oportunidad de ganar el encuentro y justamente eso fue lo que sucedió.

Estoy convencido de que habrá quien haga un análisis del encuentro y pueda definir que la derrota del Barça o la victoria del PSG se consiguió por quien desaprovechó o aprovechó las mínimas ocasiones ofrecidas por ambos equipos, pero creo que sería banal definir ese encuentro de esa manera, ya que el PSG fue sin ninguna duda el mejor en el segundo tiempo y eso le ofreció esa última jugada en dónde se le convalidó el gol de la victoria, pero para llegar eso, hay que señalar que el equipo supo ajustar para defender y generar mejor presión de la que realizó su rival y a causa de eso, era de esperar que el PSG tuviera más oportunidades de ganar que el Barça y en eso es donde observamos una de las diferencias entre ambos equipos, la otra es sobre como los jugadores no habituales, los suplentes, aprovechan las oportunidades brindadas para demostrar su validez en el equipo, que no están para rellenar a la banca y que pueden ser tomados en cuenta, creo que eso deben aprender los jugadores el Barça que lamentablemente sigue siendo un equipo con la plantilla muy corta y que dependen mucho de jugadores que todavía no están una condición plena físicamente, lo cual resta fuerza, velocidad a un estilo de juego que cuando están en plena condición física, pueden ser imparables.

El PSG de Luis Enrique es el equipo a vencer en esta temporada de la UCL, es el actual campeón y siempre será un duro rival a vencer sin importar que tan diezmado este por alguna que otra baja de sus jugadores; está victoria ha demostrado casta, lo cual por ejemplo les hizo falta en la final del Mundial de Clubes o hasta el clásico contra el Olympique Marsella, encuentros que terminaron perdiendo, pero creo que es ahora, con otro importante rival en dónde se mostraron decididos para salir victoriosos y así afianzarse en los primeros puestos de la tabla clasificatoria.
