The story is not original at all, and that's what I liked least about the film because I think it only worked to develop or create impressive action scenes. That's exactly what it is, and Ana de Armas doing her own fight scenes and using firearms is what I liked most about the film.
Ballerina is not a perfect film, but I think they did create a franchise about a man's revenge for the death of his dog. They probably thought that with this John Wick spin-off, the same thing would happen, and I hope that if they make a sequel, they will have better screenwriters.
