MI NUEVA AVENTURA, MI PRESENTACIÓN EN HIVE BLOG/MY NEW ADVENTURE, MY HIVE BLOG PRESENTATION

Saludos comunidad de HIVE, mi nombre es Nancy Gómez, soy venezolana nacida en la ciudad de Caracas. Me gradué de docente de Educación Integral en el Instituto Pedagógico Monseñor Arias Blanco y ejercí durante 27 años en principio como docente del área de música y posteriormente como supervisora de Educación Básica. También estuve a cargo de la cátedra de Mandolina en la Escuela de Música Prudencio Esáa dónde tuve la oportunidad de crear y dirigir la Estudiantina. Les comento que desde muy pequeña mi padre a quien le encantaba la música, me inició con las lecciones de mandolina y luego recibí clases con un amigo de la familia, José Heriberto Escobar, un músico invidente con mucha trayectoria y en poco tiempo pasé a formar parte de su Estudiantina. Posteriormente seguí formándome académicamente hasta que ingresé a la fila de las primeras Mandolinas de la Estudiantina de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, experiencia de la cual me siento muy agradecida porque allí no solo aprendí un mayor dominio del instrumento si no también el verdadero trabajo en equipo, la importancia de la disciplina, la mística de trabajo, la gran riqueza de géneros de la música venezolana y de otros países y la camaradería entre los compañeros. A parte de todo lo anterior, esta agrupación me permitió recorrer gran parte de mi país, muchas de las salas de concierto importantes, conocer a muchos exponentes de la música nacional y realizar una gira al extranjero, específicamente a la ciudad de Ambato Ecuador, para participar en un Festival Mundial de Folklore. En esta agrupación descubrí que viajar, aparte de la música, es una actividad que me llena muchísimo porque me permitió conocer hermosos lugares, gente nueva, sus costumbres, su comida, sus paisajes, su música, es definitivamente genial! Aunque no he viajado tanto como me gustaría me da la impresión que en cada oportunidad mi ser se expande como pasa con los límites físicos y es una sensación muy placentera. También me encanta caminar, leer, escribir, escuchar música, me gusta la Astrología, el Tarot y temas relacionados con el crecimiento personal. Desde hace varios años me he atrevido a hacer cosas diferentes con la música y descubrí que podía componer y lo he disfrutado un mundo. Además, un amigo me motivó a trabajar como solista porque siempre lo he hecho en agrupaciones grandes y cuando me hablaron de Hive Blog me pareció una excelente oportunidad para mostrar y compartir esa nueva faceta y además aprender de los que tienen más experiencia. Definitivamente nunca es tarde! For several years I have dared to do different things whit music and I discovered that I could compose and I have enjoyed it a lot. Also, a friend encouraged me to work as a soloist because I have always done it in big groups and when they told me about Hive Blog I thought it was an excellent opportunity to show and share this new facet and also learn from those who have more experience.
