Around here, it’s quite common for people to associate you with something you use often. In my case, I’m already known for the bicycle, and probably for a few other things too: Anita, the journalist, for example... or the photographer as well… but that’s another story we’ll leave aside; no need to get into it now.
Labels are such a thing that if people see me walking, they ask about it (the bike)... where I left it, if it’s alright, if I got tired of pedalling, and so on… 🤣
To keep the story short: today I went for a little walk and took some silly photos of vines and foliage. They looked so dull I started playing around with tone curves, temperature, hue, and all those extravagant tools in my editing cubicle, 😄Lightroom, that is. I guess I was in a kind of occupational therapy moment, staring at the pile of things I always have to do, and realising I hadn’t found a tent to head off tomorrow to the Photo Safari happening in Baracoa beach.
Not sure what you’ll make of these photos… I thought maybe I could give them some extravagant titles too. Let’s go for it, I need some help! 😀
They have a touch I really like… I don’t know, something dreamlike. Right?
Just a few minutes ago, I got a phone call. There’s a tent available to rent. It’s a bit late to head out by bike, but I’ll have to go and get it if I want to make it to the event tomorrow. 😑
