OMG... Of course you deserve all my love, little rat, I mean cat. 🤣
You have completed the second phase of training to be sent to... wherever Portuguese is spoken!
And that's how I ended up buying this packet of cat food yesterday during the First Festival for Stray Animals in Cuba, organised by Colonia Aldama (@aldameros on Instagram) and other animal protection groups, artists, businesses and enterprises.
Where? At Studio 50! Today there was an adoption fair but I couldn't go, even though I was determined to go I felt indisposed to ride my bike. And I really have a soft heart these days, I might have ended up adopting a cat or a dog and I honestly can't do that!
🤐
Back to the gift I brought Yin... 🤓 Oh, yeeep! a gift on #caturday! It is one kilogram of food and it cost 2160 CUP (5.92 USD) -> Informal market calculator.
I was afraid he wouldn't like it because Yin is an old cat and he came home like that, from the street, I don't know where he came from or what his eating habits were.
Well... I know which one... see the proof of the crime here.
This is how I found him sleeping peacefully this morning. He was probably playing hide-and-seek with a friend... 😒
Ok, but the important thing is that Yin likes the food and tomorrow, I plan to go out to get deworming pills for him.
I'm in love with Yin, our relationship is beautiful but also toxic, 🤣 but it doesn't matter... he's already in my heart.
What is the Aldama project?
In a border area between Centro Habana and Old Havana, on the grounds of a palace named after Aldama, cat-loving volunteers strive every day to keep a colony there, fed, wormed and sterilised. It is not a shelter, but just good-hearted people who love cats and have come together to care for the strays.
