¡Qué emoción! Ya comenzó el mes de abril, un mes que reviste especial significado al ser dedicado a la educación especial. Para dar inicio a esta significativa conmemoración, realicé un acto cívico donde compartí unas bellas y emotivas palabras. Seguidamente, se guardó un minuto de silencio en memoria de una gran amiga, docente especialista cuyo legado perdura.
¡What a thrill! The month of April has already begun, a month that has special significance as it is dedicated to special education. To kick off this significant commemoration, I performed a civic act where I shared some beautiful and moving words. Afterwards, a minute of silence was observed in memory of a great friend, a specialist teacher whose legacy lives on.
**_Es oportuno mencionar, que elaboré un lindo material de apoyo, cuyo propósito fue resaltar nuestro nuevo logo de las aulas integradas del Estado Aragua, el cual representa, sin duda alguna, un nuevo logro a nivel estadal. En estrecha relación con el Día Mundial de Concienciación sobre el Autismo, llevé a cabo diversas actividades con los estudiantes de educación inicial y primer grado, les cuento que en nuestra institución contamos con 4 secciones de educación inicial._**
**_It is appropriate to mention that I prepared a nice support material, whose purpose was to highlight our new logo of the integrated classrooms of the State of Aragua, which represents, without a doubt, a new achievement at the state level. In close relation to the World Autism Awareness Day, I carried out various activities with students of early childhood education and first grade, I tell you that in our institution we have 4 sections of early childhood education._**
En primer lugar, en las secciones A y B, dibujé en grande el símbolo del autismo. A continuación, los niños, mediante la aplicación de la técnica del rasgado y el recorte con tijera, pegaron papelitos de colores sobre el dibujo. De esta manera, no solo estimulamos la motricidad fina y la coordinación óculo-manual, sino que también fomentamos su potencial creativo, todo ello resaltando la profunda importancia de esta fecha. Consecutivamente, en las secciones C y D, realizamos banderines. Para esta actividad, los niños plasmaron sus manos con pintura al frio en cada banderín y colorearon las siglas TEA.
>First, in sections A and B, I drew a large drawing of the autism symbol. Then, the children, using the tearing and cutting technique with scissors, pasted colored paper over the drawing. In this way, we not only stimulated fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, but also fostered their creative potential, all while highlighting the profound importance of this date. Consecutively, in sections C and D, we made banners. For this activity, the children painted their hands with cold paint on each banner and colored the acronym TEA.
Asimismo, con los niños de primer grado sección A, dibujé en gran tamaño el planeta Tierra, ubicando en su centro el símbolo del autismo, el cual simboliza el infinito como icono actual del autismo y su vinculación con Au, el oro en la tabla periódica (elemento que evoca pureza, valor y maleabilidad, cualidades intrínsecas al potencial único de cada persona con autismo). En un gesto simbólico, los niños colocaron sus manos alrededor del mundo como sentido homenaje a nuestro eslogan: "La educación especial, un mundo de inclusión, amor y respeto". Acto seguido, plasmaron sus manos con pintura alrededor del mundo, representando así la unión e integración, pues todos merecemos respeto, siendo este acto también un tributo a nuestro anhelo de un mundo sin barreras donde todos podamos alcanzar nuestros sueños y lograr la emancipación.
>Likewise, with the children of first grade section A, I drew a large drawing of the planet Earth, placing in its center the symbol of autism, which symbolizes infinity as the current icon of autism and its link to Au, the gold in the periodic table (an element that evokes purity, value and malleability, qualities intrinsic to the unique potential of each person with autism). In a symbolic gesture, the children placed their hands around the world as a heartfelt tribute to our slogan: “Special education, a world of inclusion, love and respect”. Then, they painted their hands around the world, representing union and integration, because we all deserve respect, being this act also a tribute to our longing for a world without barriers where we can all reach our dreams and achieve emancipation.
Finalmente, con los estudiantes de primer grado sección B, dibujé el símbolo del autismo en un papel bond. Luego, los niños dieron color al símbolo al plasmar sus manos con pintura al frío por toda la superficie. Como resultado, la actividad fue enriquecedora, activa y altamente significativa para todos los participantes.
>Finally, with the first grade students in section B, I drew the autism symbol on bond paper. Then, the children colored the symbol by painting their hands with cold paint all over the surface. As a result, the activity was enriching, active and highly meaningful for all participants.
